Even though I'm not that old, a lot has happened in my life and I hope my experiences can help someone else.
I was in a abusive relationship for years, it wasn't usually physical but I was mentally abused, and raped. Even though we had a son, I finally got the courage to leave following councilling and a suicide attempt. Unfortunately I married the first bloke who was nice to me. He was younger than me and he showed his age when I had my daughter and he still wanted to go out all the time... we are now divorcing but still get along well. Now I have a new man, who I'm happy with but we have our problems... he has kids with his ex who's a nightmare and I still have to see my abusive ex because of my son... both cause problems!
Thoughout my life either myself or close friends have experienced most of lifes problems... teen pregnancy, miscarriage, rape, abuse, drugs, suicide, depression/anxiety/panic attacks and paranoia, relationship issues, affairs, bullying... the list goes on...
I'll be the first to admit I haven't always made the right choices in life, but hopefully I can help someone else make the right choices :) |
