I am currently in the best relationship of my life, but it wasn't easy getting here!
I met him while we were both in other relationships, and 4 months into our relationship we had to do long distance between California and Washington. Luckily that was temporary and then we lived together for almost 3 years.
Now, for the past year, I have been living in the Netherlands while he is in California due to visa issues (I am British, he is American). In the past year, we have seen each other only twice... The first time, he proposed to me, and this past time, in May, we had the most perfect wedding at my father's home in the south of France.
Now we have finally been approved for my visa and we will officially start our lives together next month.
I hope that my experiences, and the fact that we have come through the other side happier and stronger than ever, will help and inspire you.
