*ily lousia's profile:

Hi All

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I am lily louisa and I'm proud to say that I am a devonshire dumpling.

I have nothing that qualifies me on a proffesional level to help others, all I have is life experience in many avenues.

On a personnel level I was sexually abused as a child, in my twenties, I endured three years in a violent relationship, I later married what I thought was a wonderful man, but it appears I spent 18yrs with what turned out to be a serial adulter!

I am now a single mum of two teenagers,(who bring their own problems) in a long distance relationship with a widower who has children.

Nursing has been my life, working in areas such as learning disabilities, general/medical, accident and emergency, community and palliative care, the latter being my prefered area.

There have been many times in my life when I have needed someone to turn to for help and advise, resourses such as the internet were not available in the 70's and early 80's.However we did have jackie magazine and majory proops in the daily paper!

Its not always possible to confide in or ask friends and family about things that are sensitive or that worry you.Recieving help and advise from someone who is neutral and will not judge you is often easier.

So folks although I do not confess to know everything about anything, I will do my best to help you.

I like you am only human and may not always get it right, but if I can easy your burden in some small way then I have succeeded just a little.

Remember: "look for the sunshine in everyday"

take care

lily
