Im afraid this has got nothing to do with being a site moderator, however i was wondering if it was possile to add an "Edit my profile" section. My user name is mum2be, and im now a mum, and my blog says im 15, and im now 16. It would be a great way to give up to show people up to date info about yourself.  I would be more than happy to be a moderator, I couldn't promise logging on each and every day like some might, but I would commit to every couple of days on a regular basis. So if you feel I could help fill in the gaps as a "temp" I would love to!

P.S. Funnily enough, I've been approached recently (through your website) to be an on-site/on-web Agony aunt for a new UK dating site (Dating Evolution). It's just started up so slow at the moment.
P.P.S. I will be totally honest and point out that I do often log onto Dearcupid late at night after a couple of glasses of wine, so am a little prone to ranting on a bit harshly maybe. (I check my followups always).
If given a proper role within the site I would be very particular to "moderate" only when sober !!
I personally think that there is a lot of advice flying around which is generally ok, but it's a bit of a "free for all" and there are a lot of young very influential people posting here for help... I think that defintely needs some sort of control !
I have worked at a youth centre (13-20 yrs)for the last 3 years (part/time) and I understand a great deal of the issues and politics that effect young people.

i think i would make a good mod as i am always on this site, plus i may have not sent advice to peoples questions but i am able to see and approve as many questions as people post..and this would be a bonus to help me keep my mind busy and occupied.. so send me a reply if i am a moderator

I am willing to be a mod. I'm always on the internet. I know how to use proper English and grammar. I always spell check my posts. My advice is direct and to the point. I don't fluff it. But it's usually what people need to hear.

Being an Aussie, well a good grasp of proper English just comes naturally ; ) I log in daily, sometimes more and have spare time to devote to this project if I was to become a mod. I'm sure most of us have been in the position where we've posted a question and had to wait hours for it to be approved and then hours more for the answers to appear. It's frustrating isn't it?
If you can give a bit of your time, you can help other people in need of help get their questions and advice on to the site quicker and help ensure the quality remains good and helpful. Go for it :))
