My wife loves, and says she always has loved, to give head. First, she says its about both giving your partner pleasure, and knowing that you're in control over that pleasure. Second, for her, it's a turn on to be in a somewhat submissive situation like that. Third, giving oral still feels somewhat risque, since it can be done somewhat discreetly in exposed areas (cars, etc.).

My current girlfriend says giving oral is her very favourite thing. When I asked why she said it's because she likes being in control, and I guess it's because she likes giving pleasure. In truth I don't find blow-jobs that pleasurable, I'd much rather be taking a more active role and giving oral rather than receiving.

 I agree with most of the response's below. I think it's both. I do it because I know he loves it and also because I enjoy it for the fact that it gives him great pleasure and it turns me on like crazy. However; I do know of girls that dislike doing it, but do it for their husbands/boyfriends. So it depends on the girl you are with.

 I bet I know what you're thinking - WHY would anyone want to put that thing in their mouth????? Why would you want to do that????? Yes, me too, when I was your age I wondered just the same thing.
