I have heard of shoe fetish but I dont know how far it is true. Does it also have a turn on factor for you girls? Reply to this Question Share |

I wear them for the confidence boost and for their formality in the evening. As far as the high heel fetish goes, I have heard of a bunch of men being very turned on by high heels. In fact, I had one man request that I wear a pair during sex.
I'd like to add there's nothing worse than a woman who doesn't know how to walk in heels. They clomp around like a clydesdale. If you don't know how to walk in them, practice at home or don't wear them!

See what happy24birthday said. What turns them on is knowing they are turning their man / men on.
Do you wear a suit because it is comfortable? Do you lift weights because the results turn you on? These are the things you do for others....

I like wearing heels. It's not a turn on for me. What turns me on is knowing I turn my man on.

I only wear high heels on special occasions. I have high arches in my feet and they hurt my feet. I prefer flats or shoes with a small heel.

I guess it makes you feel sexier, and that can help be a turn on. They just make your legs look longer, more toned and they give you a sense of confidence and power.
It is for attention (isn't everything you put on your body?), because you do want to get noticed for looking good. It is also for fashion reasons - and fashion says HEELS. And sure, lots of women just really love wearing heels. I definitely do on special occasions. I always feel like such a knockout!

They usually make women feel more confident and sexy as it gives you a better posture makes your legs and bum look better there isnt one specific answer as to why we wear them

High heels have a different purpose for different women -
For me personally, being shorter - I like the fact that my legs and body are lengthened - I feel more graceful, stronger, and more powerful. I have a pair of shoes for every mood, day or night - and love the fact that I can take an otherwise boring ensemble and bring it to another level.
It also varies from heel to heel. Really high heels without an ankle strap for support are impractical and take time to get used to. Wedges offer more comfort and are great in the summer or in a boot - but tend to be less flattering on the leg.
Personally, I work really hard at the gym - I adhere to a very specific diet. So, for me when I wear heels not only does it emphasize and flatter attributes I feel I've worked hard for, it polishes an outfit and makes it complete.
A really well made pair of high heels can be comfortable - cheaper heels tend to wreak havoc on your knees, ankles and toes - and mid-range heels can be comfortable in moderation - and in appropriate situations.
Do I see heels as a fetish, or a sexual turn-on for me personally? Not neccesarily. The heels themselves dont do it for me, but I will admit in certain intimate situations my sexiest heels did play a part - but only as a small element in an already steamy situation.
I would say, if you are unsure about wearing high heels dont start off with a pair that are sky-high. If you are interested in picking up a pair for fun, pick low sling-backs with a kitten heel - an ankle strap or a pair of wedged boots.
If you dont think heels are your thing, its not a requirement - you should wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, pretty and fabulous. Not what someone else thinks will work for you.

The main reason for wearing heels, for a woman, is the effect they have on the leg-line and bum.
Compare for yourself, if you can find a willing volunteer to show you her profile in underwear, firstly without heels and then with - the difference will be dramatic!

I think it's different for every girl. Some wear heels because they want to be taller, others only do it to look good.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of heels myself, good thing too, it actually hurts my ankles if I wear heels. So far I've only worn heels out once and that was for my prom and even then they were only low heels.
