Cook hands down. They're more useful, as you need to eat every day. If I could come home to delicious home-made dinners and some great cakes- why I'd be over the moon.
Male dancers are a rare commodity and something women find attractive. I wouldn't want women throwing themselves at my man on the dance floor any given chance. Besides, I wouldn't want to be out-staged by a man on the dance floor. :)

Depends what kind of dancer he is...Stripper? Salsa dancer? Ballroom dancer? Swing dancer?
If he's a stripper, no. Now, if he taught or is very talented any of those other dances I mentioned, then I would DEFINITELY take the dancer. All sexy in his opened button up shirt, dance pants, swishing me all over the floor..thinking a classy Dirty Dancing here.
Cook- I will say it's always a plus for a guy to be able to cook. It's nice to have a few nights off from cooking. HOWEVER, if he's such an awesome chef to were I would be eating my way out of my whole wardrobe, then I would certainly have to turn down the cook.

The cook. A true cook is someone who loves to pleasure someone, nurture them, is in touch with all their senses, is aware of balance and satisfaction.
A Dancer is good, but I would rather slow dance clumsily in the kitchen while we make an amazing meal together!

the cook, definitely! when i don't feel like cooking i would rather have a man who says 'don't you worry, i will make dinner' than someone who says 'look at this!' and does a dance in front of me, and then i end up having to make the dinner anyway! my ex couldn't cook OR dance. it was the inability to cook that p*ssed me off more

ARE YOU CRAZY????? No self-respecting woman gives a whit of concern if a guy can dance or cook.... what she wants to know is: CAN HE GIVE ME A GOOD MASSAGE???????
I hope you've found this reply enlightening and will take it to heart!!!!
Good luck, from a guy who dances and knows his way around a kitchen!!!!!!

Oooh, tough choice. I'd go for the dancer since I'm already a pretty good cook (if I do say so myself). The cook and I would just get in the way of each other in the kitchen. I think I could learn a cool thing or two from the dancer... and I really like dancing.
I like this question. Awesome!

A
reader, anonymous, writes (28 September 2011): Personally, I'm not a great dancer. I like dancing, but I look like an idiot yet still have fun. But, it doesn't matter to me if the person I'm dancing with is all that great. It is enough to just be on a dance floor swaying back and forth in the arms of the guy you love. That's good enough for me!
As for cooking, however; I /hate/ cooking. I am a terrible cook. I do not like multitasking, I get frustrated, it's messy and gross. All of the people who say "cooking is so relaxing" are amazing to me... because to me cooking is a rage fest, LOL. It always makes me feel so loved and special to walk into the house and smell dinner cooking already! It takes a ton of weight off of my shoulders at the end of the day.
So, I would much rather have a cook than a dancer any day!

I can cook well enough for two. I'll take the dancer. Not that I'd turn down a really good cook, mind you, but if I had to choose only one...

Tough choice. Well, seeing as I can cook my own dinner I think I will have to go for the dancer. Not that I'd turn down a good cook, but if those are the only two options I'd go with the dancer. A man who actually can dance shows confidence, and a good ear for rhythm. We could potentially dance together (depending on the sort of dance) which can be quite.. sensual. And if he moves well on the dancefloor, well, hehe, maybe he's got good moves elsewhere as well. And, he probably stays in shape too from all the dancing, while the good cook probably packs up a few kilo's from all the cooking.
Besides I love to dance myself, that plays a huge part in it. Having someone I could go out and dance with is definitely a bonus.
'Course, now I'm not being objective. An ex of mine was a great dancer, I rarely came across anyone better, and he was also very talented in the bedroom + had the greatest body I've come across. And the only ex of mine who was decent (not good, just decent) in the kitchen was overweight and lousy in bed.

A man who can cook is for me, as long as he cleans up after himself lol. I find it extremely sexy if he can cook, that way I don't always have to do it all the time.

deep sigh.... I think the man who cooks as long as he also cleans up after himself. A man that cooks and expects me to clean up his mess is not worth it....

Hmm that's a super tough one since both of those things are my two biggest hobbies! I'd have to go with cooking though since I rarely go out dancing, but I eat three times a day. I'm a real foodie as well, so eating is the most important part of my day!
Plus the last time I dated a guy who was a spectacular dancer, he was so incredibly arrogant about it he thought he could get away with murder because of his skills and looks and wound up being the biggest ass I've ever dated.

If I had to pick? The cook. Most guys I know who can cook ( I mean REALLLY cook, not just stir the pot with Mac & Cheese) have been pationate men.

The dancer. Men who dance well have a good sense of rythm , have a sensuous streak, are comfortable with their body = they are good in bed.

Definitely a man who can cook! I am not much of a dancer myself and I am a bit of a foodie so if I met a guy who could cook pretty well then I would be very impressed and it would be great to cook for each other and share our interest in food together.
A man who can dance is nice, but the frequency of going out dancing compared to the frequency of eating & cooking is very different, being able to cook is a far more useful skill and one that I would appreciate more frequently!
I hope this helps!
