"Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power." ~ Lao Tzu

† To sum myself up in four words, I'd say I'm rather open-minded, reflective, understanding & independent. I have quite a wide variety of interests and a great affinity for seeking knowledge. Someday, I would love to travel around world. †

My qualifications? I'm very level-headed and least likely to make decisions on a whim. Whenever I'm faced with a messy situation (mine or someone else's), I normally ponder everything through and search for every possible option & outcome available. Then I make my choice. Also, I've observed numerous family/relationship/marriage dilemmas first-handedly - I think can offer at least some good advice.

Nevertheless, I enjoy offering advice to others as one of my favorite pastimes. And through assisting others, their issues teach me something new everytime. I do ultimately try my best to offer an unbiased reply when answering other people's questions. As it may be unfair to force my personal beliefs onto others, I will instead try to point out the undisputable areas within those issues, and help them see their problems/options clearly when emotions cloud their best judgments.

Yet nothing makes me anymore *happier* than knowing that I've helped someone else.

A.   18 March 2007: While xlindax has certainly hit the mark especially about being cautious & how it is illegal to have a sexual relationship with him, I disagree with Friend Tom. Firstly, I can say this because I am around your love interest’s age myself. And I know ... (read in full...)

A.   6 December 2006: To answer Pica's question: nothing, but a great relief for the soul. It will help us from feeling regretful that we did not do or say anything when we had the chance. And that could be as simple as thanking someone for their assistance to confessing ... (read in full...)

A.   5 December 2006: I'd believe the two of you should be peers by now. The situation would be much different if you were a woman in her early twenties, per se. Its not the age gap that's the real concern, but rather the life stages. Most women in their early 30... (read in full...)
