What Shape do Men Prefer???

my measurements are 38-35.5 to 36-43

Bust 38.

Waist 35.5 to 36.

Hips 43.

(Trying to lose weight) lol!

I wanted to know, I read all over the internet how the "hourglass" is the perfect female form and what men want and what they look for, but like, I don't know if I am curvy or not with these measurements, ok got a little extra than I'd like but I only need to lose 20lbs or so and I will be happy (hopefully) cause I feel disgusting right now and don't feel any man would want me:(

So I wanted from a man's point of view, does a shape of a woman matter, like if she is "apple" or "pear" or some other shape, even if she is nice and slim, I don't know just what I read men look for the hourglass and its said that is only in like 5% of the female population have that perfect shape :/ so I am at a loss here lol!

I'd like to think I was a little curvy at least...do what do you prefer?

spinnaker agony auntAre you losing weight to please a guy or to please yourself.

Why do you wish to make yourself an object to win over someone's shallow affections?

I've never based my attraction to someone based on size. I've dated extremely petite women and I've dated larger women and I can tell you for a fact that it all boils down to how you present yourself. For example... Get a manicure and a pedicure. It instantly tells a man that you care about how you look. Nothing is a bigger turn off for me than a woman wearing a t shit and sweat pants with chipped fingernail polish. It says slob!

IT's not how you look but how comfertable you are in yuor body. Guys don't like a women slacking all over the place. So if you are active atleast showing you are interesting . and not just a ghost wondering around. This is enough for most men. So to fix this make it a goal to lose the lbs that bothers you on your body, be comfertable.

its not the shape but how you work it.and the worst thing is don't bring up "I am fat or feel fat" because if the guy is with you he already likes you. And is happy with how you look

Auntie Mel agony auntOkay Darling theres no need to be thinking like that, your body shape doesnt matter you can be beutiful whatever your shape, you just need to know how to bring out your best bits and conceal your weaker bits.

There are so many TV shows and books about this, I am really one for buying fashion books and I think they really do help. Ive read books by Coleen, Trinny and Susannah, Niki Habmleton-Jones and Gok Wann. Personally I think Goks TV shows are really helpful and Niki Hambleton-Jones' book was really helpful for me.

The general aim is to create the illusion that your boobs and hips are the same measurment and you have a smaller waist.

looking at your measurments you are a pear shape, you have bigger hips than boobs and a nice smaller wasit. having your wasit be smaller than your boobs and hips is a really good feature, it makes eveything nice and easy.

If I were you Id make sure I draw all the attention to your bust in order to balance you out. A good look would be maybe a top with a ruffle detailing and some nice low-fuss trousers or jeans. Maybe just tops with nice neckines, anything to bring the attention to the right place. Just look it up Im sure there are some great tips online and there definatly are in the books and TV shows I have mentioned.

I hope this helps xx

dirtball agony auntIt depends on the guy. Think about it. Do you find the same thing attractive in a guy as your friends? Probably some things, but you each have your own tastes. It's the same way with guys.

An hourglass figure is nice, but not the ideal for everyone. Some people like athletic women. Some like big women. Some like it somewhere in between.

Personally, my ideal girl isn't skinny. I'd feel like I was going to break her. I like a girl who uses what she has and makes it work. Confidence in yourself is one of the most attractive traits you can have.
