writes: Alright, so my girlfriend and I last had sex 6 days ago.(We're both 14, by the way, but please don't answer my question like you're talking to a little kid who has to be told about abstinence)After I ejaculated into my condom, I took off the condom and shes sucked every last drop of sperm out and swallowed(too graphic? Sorry) but then-This part I'm ashamed of.I inserted my unprotected penis in her and slowly pumped in and out for maybe less than 2 min. She got scared and asked me to stop, I didn't want to, it was hard to stop but I did.Lately she's been feeling sick, and for a day or two while she was almost always tired. She also threw up when she was at soccer. She did seem to feel a bit warmer today but not tired or pukey, maybe she has a fever. Or she may be overexerting herself at practice, I'm not sure. I'm completely aware there's a SMALL chance she COULD be pregnant. But I'd like to hear more opinions from people well more experienced than I.P.S. I did NOT ejaculate into her when I took off the condom, However I also did not urinate before either.(I've heard chances of pre-cum pregnancies are less common if you urinate after you ejaculate)Please Respond!-Nick(thatroubledguy)

Welcome to the world of adults Nick. If you cant handle the consequences of playing the game then dont step into the ring until you can.
Even as a full grown woman pregnancy is a very dangerous time for both mother and the unborn. Complications can kill, the birthing process can cause lasting damage to urinary tract(especially young girls) which can lead to incontinence or fistula(where she tears the anal wall and can end up pooing out of her vagina), there is a good chance if the baby is too big for her birth canal she could need a C section which is a MAJOR under the knife procedure and then there is the 20+ years you have to give to caring for the child if you choose to keep it.
Likely if you choose not to keep the baby, say give it up for adoption, you have just robbed a person of knowing where they come from. Sure they are alive, but you have set them up for an uncertain future and a high possibility of abandonment issues. If they do not get adopted they could be put into the foster system where they could essentially be moved in and out of foster homes, meaning you could have robbed them of stability and the security of having someone love and care for them.
Likely if you choose to abort, you have to live with the knowledge that you and your girlfriend made and ended a pregnancy. Believe it or not even if the baby is not born you still fathered a pregnancy. She will have to deal with the termination on not only physically, but mentally.
These are the consequences of your actions. Even if you guys were practicing safe sex, her on birthcontrol and you wearing a condom, that doesn't secure you from the chance of pregnancy. They can and do still happen. If you are unready to make these sorts of decisions then you are unready and unfit to be having sex. Take this situation as a wake up call to the reality of what sex is. A means for reproduction. It is not a game.

Thatroubledguy is verified as being by the original poster of the questionOne more thing I just remembered.
We had sex the day after she gotten of her period, I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. I heard somewhere that a girl can't get pregnant within 3 days after the end of her period, but I doubt this is true.

Thatroubledguy is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI'm not sure if she even thought there was a chance she could be pregnant until today, after I told her I was concerned. We talked and I seriously doubt she is, I talked to my dad and he also doubts she is. However, my girlfriend seems to think she is because of her being sickish. She doesn't seem sick anymore. I don't feel worried anymore, I'm not sure why, but I'm very confident she's not pregnant. I've bought 3 tests. The box says to take the test as close to her missed period as possible to get the most accurate results. The only thing is, she has irregular periods, so I'm not sure when to take the test. If she is pregnant I don't know what to do. If she gave birth to a child, I'm not sure that her body could handle it. And I don't think either of us could handle being parents at 14.
I hate to think about abortions, but I also hate to think about her dying while giving birth.

And just on another point, its not a SMALL chance she COULD be pregnant by these actions, but a VERY HIGH CHANCE.
Small chance would have been if you had sex with the condom and stopped there. Remember it only takes 1 little sperm to make her pregnant and one drop of seman is loaded with over 10,000 sperm cells. How do you feel about those odds?

The fact of the matter is you did not wash yourself after taking the condom off, meaning your penis was covered in sperm when you placed it inside her. This means you pretty much let the little buggers, though not as many, loose inside her. She can easily become pregnant from this.
Women have become pregnant with less than this actually.
After only 6 days the symptoms she is feeling is very certainly not from pregnancy but from utter terror that she may be. She is probably stressing herself out and making herself sick and then over analysing her symptoms to conform with that of pregnancy. You need to get her to relax. You will have to wait another 2 weeks before you can take a test that will be accurate. You can alternatively go to a family planning clinic but I fail to see how you or she will be able to get to one without one of your parents taking you.

I also want to add that whether your 14 or 40 or 60, irrelevant of age, if your not ready to become a father then it's really important to take maximum precautions everytime. That way you avoid being caught!

Previous answers are both very good but I have to say I work in obstetrics and studies have shown that teen preganacies are more likely to be caused by pre semen inseminations (mostly due to poor knowledge of birth control methods). It is also NOT TRUE that urinating causes less chance of pre semen insemination, the risk is the same and more likely if you inserted your penis after you had cum as there would have been active sperm present.
There would have still been semen in your shaft and I doubt your girlfriend could have 'cleaned' it all out. You stated you pumped for 2 minutes after, so there is a very high chance that some of that semen would have been passed into her vagina. Of course there are other factors to consider such as her ovulation cycle.
You now face the agonising wait to see if she is indeed pregnant and I really hope she isn't, but with any form of unprotected sex the risk is very high, in fact it's a risk that has multiple outcomes and is affected by many factors so applying guess work to it is almost impossible.
I doubt very much that you will make the same mistake again.

Well you seem well educated and as if you have a good head on your shoulders so no lectures on my end.
As far as urinating after ejaculation, that does not decrease the chances of pregnancy from precum. What it does do, it was washed out bacteria that is brought forward by simulation of your genitals and the orgasm. It helped decrease the risk of urniary tract infections. It does nothing for future pregnancy risks and I would advice whoever told you that to stop believing everthing he hears in the boy's locker room.
As you know, there is a chance of her getting pregnant, so the only thing you can do is wait it out and get a test. Of course no one here is able to tell you if she is or not. But try not to stress over it. You can sweat bullets for the next couple weeks or you can keep your mind off of it enjoy your everyday activities. Either way, the test results will turn out the same.
Goodluck. AND NO MORE BARE INSERTION.

Of course, there is a chance she's pregnant.
For a 23-year-old who's earning his living and can support a child you sound perfect - concerned, caring and educated.
For a 14-year-old whose "girlfriend" will go crying to Momma (hopefully) if she is pregnant you are just creepy.
If she is pregnant and she aborts the baby, it may affect her chances of conceiving in future - that I can tell you from seeing it happen to friends.
Have fun!
