If you bath regularly then yea it is normal. dont worry about it. but if you are really worried after you take a bath put perfume on. not much though. just take a little bit in your hand and put it on top of your panties. Hope that helps :D

birdynumnums agony auntHi Sweetie,

It's perfectly normal to have an odor of your own. It should not smell like roses or daisies, either. Just make sure that you shower everyday. Wear clean underwear everyday. Rinse yourself out (especially after your period has ended) with plain water, nothing else. Don't use commercial douches or vinegar, they upset the ph balance of the vagina. What ever is left, after this normal cleasnsing, is your bodies natural, normal smell. If you work out or if it's a hot day, your odor might be a bit stronger, but that's normal too. The only time that you might have a problem if is you get a thicker than normal discharge, like cottage cheese, and you are raw and itchy. That is a yeast infection and needs to be treated. It can happen before you become sexually active. If you have been ill or on antibiotics and your body is a bit run down, it's possible to get it from the introduction of bacteria. Always wash your hands before and after you go to the washroom, especially if you are inserting tampons. Hope this was reassuring, Take Care!

penta agony auntHey sweetie. No question that you really want an answer to is "too much" so don't worry.

You'll definitely develop an aroma that is your own, and for the most part most guys will like it. Make sure that it's clean and you're good, no worries.

Every once in a while, however, it may get a little rank. If this is the case you probably have a yeast infection. If you're concerned about the way you smell, you should see a doctor just in case. Yeast infections are fairly common -- taking antibiotics can trigger them, for example, as can too much sugar or white-flour bread. If you're not sure, ask a doctor. You'll feel better.

Take care.

(And duce, thanks for the thumbs up!)

Everyones the same!

We all at some point wondered if we smelled "down there" too much, if we looked different "there", had too much hair "there" or etc.

So honestly, IT IS NORMAL to smell a little down there!

As long as you shower regularly and change your underwear daily your fine.

That area is hidden almost all the time, under all our clothes ( and bodies sweat). We also pee and might not be able to shower until hours later, so yes, its normal to smell a little.

If you want, try when you get out of the shower to stay in a towel for a while in your room, give "down there" some air!!

Or have a bath regularly instead of a shower.

Or use fresh wipes after you go to the toilet or when you want.

Or use panty liners.

Hope this helps :0)

Not unusual. I feel weird telling advice to a young girl but as long as it is a natural smell. I mean, if you bathe regularly then this is totally normal. Men are very comfortable with this and actually the sent becomes a turon as a man gets older. You shouldn't worry about it at all, the vagina naturally cleans itself and you are normal. Don't worry about it, you shouldn't worry about a guy smelling it, as you shouldn't have sex for at least 3 to 5 more years, :D.
