It is quite normal at a young age to go 40 50 or 60 days between each period untill your body regulates itself, Go visit your doc and he will do a few tests if you are really worried just to put your mind at rest, you dont say how long you have been getting your period for love? your B.M.I (body mass index) may have something to do with it also depending on if you have lost a little weight or even popped on a little, what ever you do try not to worry as this can also have an affect, you get your mum to take you to the doc hunny then you will feel alot better to no what is going on TAKE CARE DARLING LOVE MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

hey,
well my friends have had these problems; your not pregnet or anything && if you haven't had sex tell your mom or your dad to take u to a health center, because sometimes if your periods are abnormal it could mean serious stuff but most of the time it's not just tell your mom..
it'll be okay , don't worry abut it

This is a condition called amenorea ( aye men oh ree uh). There can be several things that cause amenorea. One could be you dont have enough body fat. If you are very thin and/or athletic your body fat percentage could be too low and your periods will stop. Other not-so-benign reasons could also cause amenorea, such as cysts, and I do think it is time to see the doctor to make sure you are ok. Good luck, honey!

Are you on birth control? If you are...then that can cause irregular periods. Even if you're not on birth control, then you can still have some irregular periods, you should talk to someone about it, like your mom or dad.

If you haven't had any sexual contact with a lad then you aren't being pregnant.
I've always been irregular with my periods. Why not go and chat with your doctor about it.

I agree with bubbloo24, i think it would be advisable to get you mum to take you to see your gp and speak to them about it.
Take care.xx.

If you haven't actually started having any periods so far, don't worry coz it will come but for some people it can take them till their 18 to start, it varies.
If you have already started having periods and they have just stopped, I think you should go and check with your gp just to be safe.
Take care lovely, try not to worry.

Well you're a teenager like me and sometimes your period just doesn't come for a while but it's perfectly normal. If you want to be more sure go to a doctor and asks them what's going on and don't be shy. And most likely they will give you birth control pills even though you're still a virgin. The only thing the pills will do is control your period. Hopefully i helped.

well sometimes it depends on your body system. if you have just started your period, it might not always come on the same time. sometimes it just might skip some months. if your still scared about it talk to a friend or your mom.
