largentsgirl89 agony auntDo you know the days that you had sex with these guys? The month and day? Because if you do, if you are pregnant, you can find out your date of conception and that would give you a better idea of who the father is.

Perhaps this can help. Most guys that are responsible and use protection regularly have no problem taking responsibility for a baby if he happens to get someone pregnant, the guys who are reckless and don't use protection are usually insistant that the baby isn't his and couldn't possibly be his. That's just how they are, usually.

OP I know you're looking for a way for it to be the guy who you'd prefer but you won't know for a long time unfortunately.

The condom guy is less likely to be the guy, but when it comes to paternity "likely" is not good enough.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2013):

You should go and get tested for all sexually transmitted infections and have an HIV test too as not using a condom with the first guy means you are at risk.

Do not have sexual contact with anyone until you know you are not infected and then always use a condom.

Hopefully you won't be pregnant from the first guy, its pretty much impossible that it could be the second guy. At the time of your tests you can ask for a pregnancy test and discuss options with a doctor.

"The thing is the guy that used protection is more understanding and is willing to take responsibility unlike the guy who ddnt use protection"

The guy who used the condom was a responsible man who was willing to use protection and I'm glad he is being supportive.

The guy who used the pull out method took little responsibility at the time for safe sex and family planning, so why would we think he would be interested in responsibility now?

A female reader, CindyCares Italy +, writes (6 May 2013):

CindyCares agony aunt I think the condom is safer, because even if your partner does not ejuculate, there is always his pre -cum that puts you at risk.

A condom too is not 100% effective, but this , because it can break or leak or slip out. If you are 100% sure that nothing similar happened to that condom you used with the second guy, yet you find yourself pregnant, well, chances are that something went wrong with the first guy.

All this ,though, is of course just guess and surmise, so that paternity test in 9 months time is still a must.

khot agony auntThe thing is the guy that used protection is more understanding and is willing to take responsibility unlike the guy who ddnt use protection. The guy who used protection insists it ddnt burst but thnks anything is possible and the one I suspect without a condom is really flatly denying. The issue has gone to pastors because we attend the same church. I couldn't say I slept with some one else a week later because I was very dry after the sex and I do believe it ddnt burst

A male reader, no nonsense Aidan United Kingdom +, writes (6 May 2013):

You’re more likely to fall pregnant if you have unprotected sex, because there is still precum as the previous poster says. So you can still fall pregnant if he didn’t ejaculate. However it’s also true that protection isn’t 100%, people do get pregnant if they use condoms.

Advice: you have no choice but to wait the 9 months for the paternity test, and don’t sleep with multiple partners like this, you’ll risk your health.

I wish you all the very best.

A reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2013):

Well when you speak in terms of paternity they're both the exact same.

Neither is 100% effective so both are possibilities and it would be pointless to base speculation about paternity on which is more likely.

Condoms are slightly safer than the pull out method but I would not bank the paternity of a child on that seeing as it could be either. Only a DNA test will confirm that.

Wearing a condom guarantees nothing, it can break it can be put on wrong, it can leak etc.

I wouldn't speculate OP when it comes to a child's paternity.

A female reader, largentsgirl89 United States +, writes (6 May 2013):

largentsgirl89 agony auntEven if he didn't ejaculate inside of you, there is still precum which contains sperm. Pulling out or non-ejaculation is not a "safe" method of protection for sex. The condom is definitely better as a safe sex method.

A female reader, Got Issues United Kingdom +, writes (6 May 2013):

Got Issues agony auntCondoms are way safer. That's why sex with a condom is called safe sex. You should be worried about STDs, too, not just pregnancy.
