I think because you are his girlfriend he is obviously attracted to you and that's what happens with us. I got one when the girl I liked was sat on my lap now that was embarrassing.

Don't you just hate premature ejaculation???

A
reader, anonymous, writes (9 March 2011): I've read all the responses written to you, and they all (with a couple of notable exceptions) contain good, sensible answers.
Your boyfriend is young, he's going through puberty and there'll be enough hormones coursing through his body to get him to Mars and back.
His erection is "involuntary", i.e., he has absolutely no control over it. I know that many young boys are embarassed by the uncontrollable nature of what's happening to their bodies during puberty.
It's nothing you should worry about. It's natural.
I would like to strongly disagree with a couple of the male responders who said "it's a compliment" - not really, chaps! Not really! A compliment is something (strictly verbal) said to someone that makes them (him or her) feel good. An erection is "an enlarging and hardening of the penis (usually, but not always) in response to sexual stimulation". What kind of response do you think you'd receive if you walked up to a woman at a party, showed her your erect penis and asked if she felt flattered? Grow up, boys!

Boys that age can get an erection at any time for a huge variety of reasons. He really cant control what that part of his body does and how it reacts. In time he will be able to control it more.

Getting an erection is a physical response for a guy who gets some kind of sexual stimulation or arousal. This stimulation occurs in the mind, and is usually the result of physical contact, but it doesn't have to be. A guy can become sexually aroused and stimulated just by seeing a pretty girl, or even just by thinking about a girl. Sometimes a guy will get an erection without even being aware in his mind why he is getting it, it can just happen, especially as a teenager. In this case, its because you guys were snuggling :) Perfectly normal.

yep sounds about right. The biggest sex organ is the brain. he was cuddling you because he likes you and because he likes you he thinks good things and he gets an erection.
IF you think about things with him, I am sure you become aroused.

Guys get erections from sitting idle in class. A 14 year old boy cuddling with a girl is more than enough to get him going. Like the other two said, you should be taking this as a compliment, most guys don't get a boner from being around a girl they don't like. I mean he is your boyfriend......

He is young and full of hormones and is attracted to you. It's perfectly natural for him and he doesn't really have control over it.

Young boys can get erections for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It's natural and not strange at all.Look on the net for medical articles concerning "puberty and erections". You'll have a much better understanding of what's going on than any explanation I might provide. The fact that you and he where snuggling is more than enough reason for him to become excited. At his age, it's not uncommon for boys to become erect by something as minor as having a girl "smile" at them.By the way, that particular problem subsides over time! For some of us, over time, it quits working altogether. I guess that's why there are little blue pills now-a-days!

It's a compliment even. ^^
Depending what you want to do about it, ignore it or confront him.
Ignore if you're not ready for 'that' yet, confront if you are. :)
Or let it play out and let him decide. :)

Because you were touching and you are attracted to each other. It's not unusual at all. Why is this a bad thing that he's attracted to you?

Judging by your age i'm guessing he's at the age where he's going to think about sex a lot. My boyfriend is 15 and he's exactly the same. He just apologises and says he'll distract himself, so I'm guessing it's just the thoughts in his head which causes them sometimes.

Im guessing that he is as young as you and that's totally normal. In a way, take it as a compliment. He finds you attractive. Boys can't control themselves especially at that age.
