hi
its a gesture. its supposed to mean that you have got the face of someone he adores, however, it is only a gesture, you cannot get a true judgement of the guys feelings just by this alone, look at how he treats you day-to-day. the holding the face thing is in the same league as 'gazing into your eyes' and various other signs of affection and even saying 'i love you', unscrupulous men can mimic this sort of behaviour, so like i say: look at the rest of relationship as a whole without getting too caught up on this face holding thing.
xx

i thinks that's romantic, cause my boyfriend would normally do that when we kiss.... not all the time but i guess when the feelings hit him. so i dont think it means anything.

I only do it if I'm trying to express deeper feelings so it's reserved for special situations.
But, like others have said, it's probably different for different guys. Some guys express emotions they might not feel just to get sex, and it wouldn't surprise me if some guys use this as a tactic to get sex.
When I do it, I think there are normally other vocal signals (tone of voice) and body language that go along with it. If you're trying to gauge what's going on, my suggestion is to try to figure out if the other signals are consistent with expressing deeper feelings.

I do it to a man that I absolutely adore! Maybe, he adores you big time. It's an awesome way to kiss. Don't you just love it. Very romantic and embracing.

I'm guess that is HIS way of kissing, most likely because it gives the desired effect :)
It sounds very romantic & sweet.

When I do that, I'm usually being more tender, kissing slower and softer and holding her face or her hair. It's a more loving kiss, less of a quickie. It's only when she has my full attention and yes, for me it's when I'm more emotional about the kiss. That's me though, I can't say for sure if your guy just happens to kiss like that.

It really depends on the guy. Usually when I do something like that it is in more of a passionate moment.
