Using Birth Control Being a Slut.
You're only a slut if you sleep around [have multiple sexual partners] and don't really care about them. And you SHOULDN'T be having sex (often) just because you ARE on birth control and think you can do anything without any side effects. Know what I mean. Birth control is there as a protective measure to keep you from getting pregnant... UNTIL you are ready to have a family. As everyone else has stated... USE CONDOMS too! Birth control pills just keep you from getting pregnant. They don't keep you from getting (some nasty) STDs.

It does not make you a slut because I'm on it to and I'm just 15 girl it just mean we wanna stay safe

I think being on birth control is something most people should be on. Don't worry. Your fine...but if the reason your on birth control is because your sexualy active then you should still use a condom. Birth control doesn't help prevent STDs.

No that doesn't make you a slut it just means you or you family care about your future cause I'm on it too but I'm 15 and it doesn't make me a slut

I mean, women take birth control for reasons other than sex. Birth Control helps irregular periods and makes them lighter and shorter. I reckon thats the reason why you're on birth control, right?

Why are you on birth control?
It doesn't make you a slut exactly, but it would seem that you want to be prepared should the opportunity arise to have sex. This is weird. Having sex is something that YOU control. You obviously shouldn't be having sex aged 14. So why be on birth control? It's not as if someone is going to suddenly leap on you and you won't be able to say no. You do control this situation. So don't you trust yourself?

Unless you exchange sex for money then you are not a whore. Like CaringGuy said, when people call other people sluts it's usually out of jealousy or a result of simply not liking someone's personality. Birth control pills can regulate your period, prevent ovarian cysts, clear up acne, or whatever you're on it for. Why does anyone need to know if you're on the pill? Also, people who call other people sluts are usually the type of obnoxious person who would put someone down to make themselves feel better. In other words, a super nasty person.

No it means you're taking the necessary precautions to prevent a teen pregnancy. Sounds like you were listening when Sex Ed was being taught.
Now, girls who aren't on any form of contraceptive and carelessly sleep with every boy in sight is what I would consider a whore or slut.

No, it doesn't make you a slut. However CaringGuy, I wouldn't say that word is used by jealous people. I would use it if a woman/man is know to sleep around a LOT.
Being on the pill is sensible, a lot more people your age should take that level of sense.
It also helps to regulate your periods.
Remember to take it everyday when you should :-)

In addition to what CaringGuy said, it also helps regulate your periods, which is important for many women. It absolutely doesn't make you a slut. You could be on the pill for years and still be a virgin.

No, not at all. It makes you sensible. The words 'slut', 'whore' etc are just words usually given by jealous men/women to describe other women who have more fun.
It's always important to be safe, and you've kicked off to a good start. Just always remember that when you do have sex one day, the pill isn't going to protect you from STD's. You always need condoms too.
But don't think you're a slut or anything. You're smart, and ahead of anyone who suggests otherwise.
