 I'm going to agree but for a different reason. If my girl is naked, that can mean she wants me or it could just mean she'd rather have sex than argue about it or cause hurt feelings. But if she takes the expense to buy lingerie and the time and effort to wear it for me, that shows an amount of excitement and anticipation on her side that is, quite frankly, intoxicating. You'll hear all the time about women having affairs that buy sexy underwear for their other men that their husbands never see. If my girl wears the sexy underwear for ME, that's a quick sign that she can't stop thinking about me, that I still excite her, that the spark is still there.
Nakedness is grand for a quickie, or for casual sex during a shower or while already in bed, but the special occasion lingerie is filled with so much more meaning!

The real turn on for anyone, man or woman, is confidence and letting them know how you feel.

Lingerie is the key to teasing. The tease makes us want what's underneath even more. The question to ask is, does your guy enjoy teasing?
Some get turned on by it; some just want to get down to business. It really depends on the mood.
I personally enjoy lingerie for certain situations, but sometimes I just don't like the tease as much as the reward :)

Lingerie applies a shape to a woman's body, it puts all the bits in certain places and teases by showing only so much.
While a naked woman is sexy I see my girl naked all the time, when having a shower, getting up in the morning. So I see her naked in non sexual situations.
Lingerie only means one thing, she only wears it for one type of occasion so I only equate it with sex.

 According to Playboy, lingerie. The brutally honest truth is that naked people are not all that attractive, especially in winter. The right bit of lace or silk can cover up your weaker points and accentuate your strengths.

Mind you coming home and finding a fully naked woman waiting for you has its thrills as wells. Simple, to the point, no subtlety. Men like.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a full blown naked woman, it's just one in lingerie is extremely seductive and sexy. It's like applying turtle wax to a sports car - really makes it stand out.
I remember reading a great quote before that was something along the lines of..."lingerie, what it conceals heightens interest, what it reveals heightens arousal."
P.S. Nothing sexier than thigh-high stockings and a garter belt!!!

 I think you are maybe asking if they prefer one or the other? Why choose?!??
It seems to me that lingerie comes with the prospect of nakedness? When you see something skimpy, the fun is imagining what is underneath and getting teased relentlessly by something sexy covering it up. Why do you think most strippers start off in the sexiest outfits available?? (perhaps that is a bad example...)
It is my experience that you can be just as sexy to a man if you are all glammed out (Victoria's Secret lingerie, extra mascara, sexy perfume), if you are butt naked in the shower, if you are lounging in a tank and sweats with no makeup and your hair in a ponytail, when you are just waking up, etc. Maybe your fella has a favorite look, just like a favorite sex position, but heck - they're ALL great!
Wearing lingerie will probably make you feel saucier (the bustier), more romantic (the babydoll camisole) and will change up the tone of the sex you have. It's fun to switch that up too!
Don't make the fellas pick favorites!! They are all awesome looks. Keep them all in rotation, sweet thing!
