Can all women squirt?

A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

So I was a spectator to a discussion at a party the other day (alcohol involved) involving squirting. One guy claimed that the squirting in porn was real. (which I know its not) When someone voiced this contrary opinion, the kid stated that that was a lie designed to keep females down, and that all women could squirt, just that society has made it unacceptable.

I currently have a girlfriend and have a fine sex life where I can get her off with enough effort but the conversation left me with some questions as to whether or not I'm doing a good enough job.

1. Can all women, as the guy said, squirt?

2. Is an orgasm with squirting more powerful than a typical G-Spot/Clitoral orgasm?

3. From a purely sexual perspective, Would you prefer a man who makes you squirt over one who simply gives you a regular orgasm

4, How can you induce squirting, if at all? I'm a concrete kind of guy and it seems like squirting is the ultimate indicator that you satisfied your girl which to me is a big part of the relationship.

A male reader, ohouston United States +, writes (23 December 2014):

People saying real squirting is never like the pornos are WRONG. When I was 17 I had a girlfriend who's virginity I took. She squirted the 3rd time we had sex, then literally every time after that. And it WAS like in the pornos. She could squirt off the bed while laying at the opposite end. When she was on top it would splash to my face.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2011):

Before my husband, I had multiple partners and I had never squirted. The first time that my husband and I had sex with me on top I squirted. That was the first time I had ever heard anything about it. After that I started asking my friends and watching porns to learn more about it. Turns out that ALL of my friends can squirt. I think the most important thing for a woman ( when it comes to a REAL orgasm and squirting) is that she has to be completely comfortable with the guy and willing to less loose and hold NOTHING back. The ONLY way that I can squirt is if I am on top grinding. While grinding, roughly, playing with the clit will always work for me. I hate to admit this but if I am drunk, I keep going forever and keep squirting. While it is messy, it brings sex to another level. That is of course if YOU can handle it. There are some men who get freaked out by it. TRUST me that if you show that you are freaked out she will be embarresed and never want to less loose like that again. So to sum it up... squirting is real, and more common than people know. I really do not that all woman can squirt so dont be too hard on your self if your GF cant.

Miamine agony auntEyes, I think it's an age thing... young girls got G.Spot thingy and us oldies have incontinence.

I get by just fine without this squirt thing.. any excess liquid and I'm going to the bathroom.

"it seems like squirting is the ultimate indicator that you satisfied your girl".... mmmmmmm.... try for multiple endless orgasms (Tantric) instead if you looking to keep score.

wornoutmommy agony auntlol, that would be her 'version' of squirting, yes. Basically squirting is a woman's method of cumming. You're doing the right thing if that's what happens. Kudos to you!

I'ts humorous. It is still debatable, medically speaking, whether the G-Spot even exists.

And if Doctors (who spend their lives studying this kind of stuff) can't agree on it... how can you?

dmartin89 agony auntI have had some really great orgasms, but I have never squirted, and neither have any of my friends who have experience strong orgasms (I asked).

It doesn't happen to every women, not every woman is capable of it. Stats say on wikipedia that 30% of women can squirt, but thats just a ridiculous figure, I would say its more 5% of women.

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

So now that its been established that my girlfriend may or may not be able to squirt. Should I approach her about doing it?

I already use the "come hither" method in foreplay, and have noticed the occasional release of some fluid but nothing substantial, I assumed it was just typical lubrication that dripped out or got onto her thigh from my hand. Could this be her version of squirting? because she does say that she feels like she has to pee

A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 January 2011):

Squirting is possible, i have a few times, my guy is starting to really catch on to what makes me squirt. It is not pee! Although im sure it is possible to pee instead if you have not squirted before. Squirting feels good, but so does any orgasm! I think squirting sometimes feels better mostly because my man is very vocal about how much my squirting turns him on. He thinks its hot, but even he doesn't want to see that everytime, just something nice to spice things up!It is difficult to learn, i found it easier to learn how to do it by myself, a lot less pressure!

A reader, anonymous, writes (26 January 2011):

I have squirted twice in my life while masturbating. What I did was wait until I was on the brink of orgasm, stop and then start again, stop when I was close and start again over and over. It built up and after i finally let myself go I did squirt a little. It wasn't much at all, just a little, and NOTHING like in pornos.

A female reader, TasteofIndia United States +, writes (26 January 2011):

TasteofIndia agony auntYou got great advice. I just wanted to tell you that in porn, squirting isn't peeing (okay, maybe in some porns), but it is in fact the insertion of water (or whatever liquid) into the vagina. Then pretty much: insert dick, pump and build a little pressure and have her push. Do not ask me how I know (all though to be clear, I've never done this myself).

Squirters DO exist, but not exactly to the magnitude of porn. Kind of like guys - some guys cum A LOT, and some barely at all. Sure, women can learn to "squirt", but for most it will end up being more of a dribble. But for a girl who cums a lot, all she needs to learn is how to control her body and make it happen!

Okay, for some reason this is making me feel queasy... so I'm just going to stop here. Good luck!

A female reader, wornoutmommy United States +, writes (26 January 2011):

wornoutmommy agony auntlol. I have twice, ever, on accident. I have watched some pornos that involve squirting- and if you look real close it was always the woman peeing, not cumming. I had the same discussion with a group of friends, while sober!

I'm sure most women could, but I know I've been so embarrassed by the couple 'accidental' times I've had that I can prevent myself from doing so- to the point of restricting orgasms.

A female reader, k_c100 United Kingdom +, writes (26 January 2011):

k_c100 agony auntWell, as a woman, I know I have never squirted and never want to! I have amazing orgasms with my boyfriend and have no desire to feel like I have to pee when I orgasm. It is far more of a turn on for a man for the woman to squirt, compared to the so called 'pleasure' a woman will get from squirting.

I am sure if all women really tried hard enough and practiced daily then yes, maybe they could squirt. But most of us do not care enough about it to even think about squirting - we are too busy enjoying our orgasms to worry about if anything is squirting out of us!

Keep in mind that squirting does normally happen through a G-spot orgasm and this is VERY difficult for women to acheive, often some women simply cannot have a G spot orgasm no matter how hard they try or how much they want to. I know personally, it is very rare for me to have a G-spot orgasm even though I really enjoy sex. So chances of me ever squirting are pretty slim, and I am happy about that!

If you look on this site there are lots of questions about it - some women wanting to be able to do it, some are men asking how to do it to their girlfriends. If you see the ones from women you will see a lot mention feeling like they are going to pee, and some even do pee rather than squirt. I personally have no desire to ever feel like I need to pee when having sex, I love the orgasms I have now and dont need to add any urine into the mix!

I hope this helps and good luck!

A female reader, Fabulosa United States +, writes (26 January 2011):

Fabulosa agony auntI believe that all woman can have them. And most of the time the first time (maybe the first few times) a woman has one it from fingering.

Use ur to fingers makeing the "come here motion." Find a bump on the front wall of her vagina. Kind of tickle it with the come her motion because if you push up to high you will be pushing on her blatter.

She's going to feel almost like she has to pee that's when she needs to let go. Its not pee trust me its not. Make sure she has towels under her.

Good luck. On and squatting is real.
