reader, anonymous, writes (18 February 2008): no, don't use gloves!! if you feel you need to use gloves then maybe you're not as ready as you think you are! my ex quite happily used his tongue and fingers first, before applying LOTS AND LOTS of lubricant, as in alllllll over him and me. and it wasn't in the slightest bit painful (and no, he isn't small). as long as you use lots of lubricant and she's properly relaxed (which is helped by using your tongue and fingers-though i must say rubber gloves would make me feel like it was some kind of surgical operation, which realllllly wouldn't relax me!) and the best position for it is 'doggy' (girl on hands and knees)

 to be honest i dont see why you would want to put your fingers in there first, it is not going to make it any more comfortable for her and it wouldnt be very enjoyable for either of you. i would suggest just going for it - but be warned, anal sex is extremely painful for the girl - i tried it once with my bf and havent tied it since cos of the pain. use alot of lube (and of course a condom), and be gentle. the best way to do it is for her to either sit on you or do it military style - dont do it doggy style for the first time cos this is the most painful way to do it
