| | *ryingToBeFree2023's profile:I'm in addiction recovery, I've struggled with not just physical addiction but with a mental obsession and although I don't crave substances or the lifestyle, I still struggle with a mindset that leads to destruction. I'm working towards Spiritual fitness so that my mind will follow. It's an ongoing journey and if I help others, I hope I do.
On Spirituality, that is NOT religious. One's Higher Power can be hope, it doesn't have to be a patriarchal God with a list of 'don't you dare or you'll suffer" rules. That's the beauty of the 12 steps that work for me and has worked for countless others.
I'm also the Q in LGBTQIA+ so I can try to help people deal with that.
