writes:hi, im 17 and this is quite embarrasing but im worried about down there, it seems to be quite big and the lips hang quite low,and im ideal weight, so its not fat or anything but im really embarrassed by it and i have a boyfriend and wont let him go down their because im so embarrased because of it, the lips are also a brownish colour and im wondering is this normal? its really embarassing and i hate it! thanks for reading. I have the same problem. my labia hang down too and they're slightly darker than the rest of my area down there. I hated my downstairs for so long. I've had a bf go down there before and he didn't seem to mind one bit. but I was still so uncomfortable because I didn't like my parts.well the man I'm with now we've actually discussed this. I told him I didn't like the looks of mine. he told me he loved it. it was unique. he told me of was the most amazing one ever. u can tell he gets overdramatic about some things lol. now I have absolutey no problem with him down there. sweat to god he'd probably marry it instead of me if he could LOL. hope I helped...

 Were all different and the majority of us are insecure about it, its part of your body whether you like it or not and i think the other posts have answered it for you really. Don't let it bother you, it sure won't bother him, confidence is much better than paranoia and at the end of the day its not going to change, you're completley normal so don't worry about it(:

Sounds completely normal :) Your boyfriend is going to be happy that you're letting him go down there, he's not going to go down there and come straight back up again because of the size or shape of your genitals.
You're honestly normal, if you've got this idea that you're not from porn or naked modeling, then don't worry, it's all fake. A lot of the women have surgery, not only on their breasts to make them bigger, but on things like their labia to make them less visible.
The colour is normal too. For some reason, genitals seem to be naturally darker than other parts of the body... Men's genitals are darker too.

 I promise you guys don't even think about the shape of them. They're just thankful to be allowed in that area in the first place. When he's down there the only thing he's going to be worried about is how much pleasure he's giving you, not what colour your bits are.
You sound normal anyway - whatever 'normal' is. Every one is different. Just like a face.
I think you just need to get the fear of him laughing or being disgusted out of the way. The second he sees it and doesn't laugh, you're fear will gone I believe.

Don't be self-conscious about it. I don't know where you got your basis for what a "normal" vagina should look like, but for heaven's sake don't use porn as a measuring stick. Many of those girls are surgically or cosmetically altered downstairs and are NOT indicative of what real women look like.
Bottom line: don't worry!! I guarantee your bf will be happy about being allowed down there, period. He's not going to care what it looks like :)

 I have the exact same thing, large laberus, which is the lips that hangout, mine is abit chuby but im average weight too. Nothing to worry about atall, some girls get them cut off because they find it emabarsing.
But dont worry about it.
Some boys like it, its more to play with, more to nibble on and it turns them on.

 yes its normal, everyones differant and its fine. i have the same problem w/ self conciousness of down there to, but to tell you the truth guys dont care about the apperance as much as you think, as long as your heathy down there its ok.
