I think it is cos he ws looking for someone he could date/have casual sex with and know there is no way it could get too deep cos he's already in a deep relationship. There are lots of guys on online dating sites who are married or already have women. They are looking for loneyly, desperater (not that i think all women online are desperate but alot of guys online think the women on r desperate) and vunerable who he could try and manipulate.

A man in a relationship will join a dating website because he is looking someone else before he dumps the unfortunate lady he is with at the moment.

Hi gradu8,
Usually because he is bored? Things have gone stale in his relationship so he's doing what a lot of people do, trying to find someone else before he splits from the current beau!
OR he could be crying out for help and trying to communicate that he isnt being given enough attention from his partner?
There are various reasons. You would only know for sure by asking them.
