Skeez is verified as being by the original poster of the questionno this has nothing to do with breaking up with my boyfriend. I know the real reason already. Just my friends have gone through this and its somehting I would like to understand

Yes, that is probably true to some extent. Some guys do get bored with relationships, or they don't want to get tied down. Personally, I would love to find myself in a "settled" relationship again, and if I did, I certainly wouldn't be the sort to get scared and run. But then, every guy is different.
I wonder, what makes you ask this question? Have you experienced this recently, or is it purely out of curiosity?

Skeez is verified as being by the original poster of the questionIv heard that some guys do break up with there girlfriends, once they see a proper commitment is starting, and they get scared and just run away.
thats why i really asked the question. I do believe some men are just scared to stay with that one girl for years.

My experience is that you don't break up with a girl when you get settled. Once the girl is part of your life, so to say, you can count on her for fun, love and companionship. At least I wouldn't break up with someone I feel comfortable with, and I think not many people would do that, either.
I suppose that break ups do happen when the relationship becomes boring and repetitive; when it has stagnated and takes you nowhere. It is then when you want the thrill.

Hi
Sorry not a guy but usually those that do that, simply prefer the thrill of the chase, not the actual settled relationship. They are the type that get bored easily.
