I never bragged about my looks... but when I look in the mirror I say I'm ugly and someone will say no you're not. I'm never satisfied. When I'm in public I don't think about how people see me but when I look in the mirror when I get home, I say these people saw this face and they weren't talking about it? It's not really low self esteem but I probably just like the younger me better or something? I don't know. What could this be?

Hun, I am telling you this without even seeing you. Many people women especially believe that they are unatractive or overweight or both.
you sound like you want to talk to someone and I think that speaking to a proffesional would be the best thing.
Just remember the thought that you are unattractive is in your mind and has most likely made you more self concious and paranoid.
When you look in the mirror look at your full body and face and pick out your best features. Each day make good points about your body and tell yourself I am attractive I am cute. It will help grow your self assteam.
I HOPE I HAVE HELPED
GOOD LUCK

Some people ALSO have a disproportionate idea of what they see in the mirror and what they actually do look like. Most of these people are called Men... LOL! Come on, it's just a joke. The actual condition is called BDD or Body Dysmorphic Disorder, where people have a disconnected view of what a certain part of their body actually looks like. You can go to Wiki and read up on the condition, and if you think this might be a problem for you, talk with a qualified professional. I'm quite sure that you are pretty normal, but if you do feel this might be an issue, talk with someone. Take care! XXX

You seem to be rather insecure about your looks. Try to remember that REAL BEAUTY comes from the HEART~
When we grow older we sometimes become more aware of ourselves as far as looks, body shape, weight and etc. Sometimes we develope low self esteem because of what others say or do toward us and it makes us view ourselves as less than perfect.Sometimes we just think it for no apparant reason. Don't worry NO ONE IS PERFECT! Just be the best you can be. Stop worrying about what you aren't and be proud of what and who you are.
You are being far too critical of yourself. Perhaps others really do see you as a beautiful person. Mama always said..."Pretty is as pretty does" So clean yourself up, get out there and LET YOUR BEAUTY SHINE...........Sometimes we are known best by a smile,or a kind gesture. Don't forget that others see you from the outside looking in...and you are on the inside looking out. You may not even be aware of how beautiful you really are.
Look into your mirror hon and see just what a Beautiful Young Lady God has made. Be happy with who you are, it seems that others have already noticed you and are already take with what they see. Inside and out!
God bless,
Blue_Angel
