I want to add:
Not everyone likes it. Maybe you are one of those people.
My wife will take a bubble bath with me (sometimes) but she just doesn't "get" the shower thing either. We are both standing, water is getting in our eyes, and it's just not what the movies make you believe it is. I personally don't mind it (any excuse to be naked with her) but it's not my first choice of activities. I prefer that we shower separately and then retire clean and smelling nice to the bedroom.

If it's a nasty looking shower where you wouldn't want to spend time anyway then of course... who wants to have an intimate or even sexy moment there. That's just like sleeping in dirty and filthy bed sheets. No one wants that, or will feel sexy in that.
Clean the shower, or clean your own shower when you move out. When you are on your own there will be no hairs left from anyone else but you, and you can easily clean that away. Of course the shower also needs to be big enough to fit two people.

Probably... Because when I think of showers, I think of a small, cramped, gross (My little sister leaves hair in the shower T.T), area that I dont find sexy, or even some place I'd like to be for very long. (When the steam builds up, it gets hard to breathe)

your problem might be your shower is too small. When i renovated my house i put a triple shower in. Perfect for cuddling up. Its just a shame im single. :-)

We were talking about all the things we'd like to do after we get married, and although showering did NOT come up, it left me thinking. And you know me, I digress and go off on tangents in my brain, until I've come to a completely new topic! lol.

Ever had a boyfriend?
Showering together is intimate. You can ask the same question as to why would people sleep in the same bed together, after all they are there to sleep, snore, and maybe even fart in sleep. Plus you typically sweat in your sleep, and probably don't look too shiny in the morning either. But woah, how people love sleeping together in the same bed even though (and now I meant the actual sex-less sleeping).
For the same reason some people, not all, but many, enjoy showering together. You get to see the other naked, rub them up with soap and watch how they get water all over themselves. It's good fun.

Shadow Rose is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThe good clean fun part made me chuckle xDYeah, I just dont see how slipping around in a cramped space, wih a limited source of water (I cant even get everything under the water,so it must be uncomfortable with two!) would be so great...Thanks for answering, though. I guess when it comes to showers I'm a pessimistic realist xD Probably because the tea tree shampoo I use doesn't smell erotic at all! xD

I think its holds alot of symbilism. Like you stripping away the stress and dirt from a long day with ur loved one. Wen I have had a long day (when I had a gf) nothing felt better then gettin in tue shower and having her press her gorgeous body sgainst mine and rubbing my back. Its jus really relaxing

A

it can be caring and fun to soap each other up (whirl running your hands over each others bodies) Tease a little and cuddle with the warm water running over you. Its all good clean fun :-)
