Being happy has much to do about you attitude. Try your best to think positive, even though that might not feel natural to you at first. Maybe read some 'self help' books. I read a book called 'Don't Sweat the Small Stuff' (because I also let the little things bother me sometimes) and it really helped me to change the way I veiw life when things go wrong.
I don't know for sure the secret to life, but I think it is love. The love of yourself and the love of family and friends. If that does not make you happy, try to find a box full of kittens/puppies. :-)

well for you to be happy in life...count your blessings especially the ones around you who loves you no matter what. happiness resides in our heart and in our soul, we are happy if we are able to care, to give and to appreciate some simple things in life. even a simple smile from a stranger is a way to make you happy, a glimpse of a laughing baby, a possitive outlook in life is why we are happy.

I covered this topic in my book I'm a Man, That's My Job. To find out what would make you happy and fulfilled, do these writing exercises: Write your own eulogy, write a list of what you want to be remember for, write a list of all the things you want to leave in your legacy, take a walk in a cemetery to remind you how temporary and precious life is, write a list in ways you feel the world could change for the better, and then write a list of things you can do to help make those changes happen. This will start you off. To find the meaning of your life, you must first contemplate your death. It reminds you to make every moment you have count for something that will last long after you are gone.
