I am not sure that I hear this term very often, but I think it basically means flirt. She wants you to "kid" around with her - make playful, flirty jokes. Tell her how nice she looks, tell her that when you hear a love song, it reminds you of her. Take her to a fair and buy her cotton candy with a coke and say "here's something sweet for my sweetheart." ... buy her a bag full of small goodies such as candy, a heart calculator, a girly toy for her desk, a cute pink note pad... LoL ... I could be wrong - I can't seem to put into exact words what I mean, but hopefully this helps - maybe a little?

Playful banter is just a form of flirting with another person, normally with people with have an attraction to. It could include eye contact with lots of smiles, playful touches, pokes, prods, hugs or kisses.
Good luck

well it depends on what she is talking about.. playful banter is like flirting on a playground... you tease the girl you like (but be nice!) ..you are playfulling giving her a hard time if you will...

PLayful banter is basically just about having the confidence to be a little bit cheeky but without hurting the other persons feelings. The reason girls are turned on by it is because it shows confidence. It is important she knows you are joking so your body language and tone of voice are crucial. Gentle teasing followed by a cheeky smile and a wink or nudge should do the trick. Remember confidence is all an act!
