well if he or yourself asked eachother out than yes u r going out. Why don't you just ask him do you want to go out, as you don't want to look silly infront of your friends when you find out that after those dates he feels that being just friends is all he wants. just talk to him about it
good luck xxxxxxxxxx

It’s not how many dates you have but it’s the three magic words that will make you and him boyfriend/girlfriend...Those words are I LOVE YOU. When you tell him this and he responds saying the same that's when you are an item. After you declare to each other “I love you” you probably don’t even have to ask at that point…you just are.

I wouldn't think so, unless he thinks you are. Usually when someone is your boyfriend/girlfriend, it means that neither of you are seeing anyone else. Otherwise you're just "dating." Why don't you ask him what he thinks? (And BTW, it's a conversation you'll have a lot over the years, lol.)

I'd wait a few more dates and bring up the subject with him. Some guys can be touchy, or feel that the girl is too clingy if she starts to make a declaration - "He's my Boyfriend" before he has even told you that he feels that way too. It would be better to find a way to bring up the subject, talk it over, and be in agreement BEFORE telling others. You sound very happy and excited! He must be a great guy. Best of luck with everything, Sweetie!

He's not officially your boyfriend until you both agree that neither of you will date anyone else. You are 'just going out' at this point, he is right in saying that. In about 2-3 more dates it will become apparent to you if he's going to become your boyfriend. Then you can ask him if he minds if you date anyone else. His answer will tell you if he wants to all to himself. If that's OK with you, then you're boyfriend and girlfriend.

I would say that at this point in time he is not your boyfriend. It is only the second date, effectively the getting to know each other period. After each date you will become that bit more comfortable with each other, and maybe after you have been out five or six times then you could maybe be considered his girlfriend.
Good luck x
