We recently signed a notice that says we have to "like" all notices posted on the employee Facebook group or we will have our paycheck deducted. However I just logged in and it appears I was deleted from the group yesterday or today. Our general manager who manages five stores manages the group, and is very corrupt. Our store managers are her puppets and are useless. I don't know if they will actually deduct my paycheck but I want to be safe. What should I do if they do that? It's a very unprofessional business that has done quite a few illegal and immoral things. Thank you.

Well, I would say any "company" forcing you to "like" what they "like" is unprofessional in itself and pretty ridiculous. I see you do live in the US, but how times are changing.
Personally, I would see it as a God-send that you aren't listed. That way you don't have fake your likes/dislikes.
I know many companies have Facebook pages for their customers and for special things they do such as promotions, etc. But, I find the use of a Facebook page for anything else kind of tacky.

I would see an attorney. There are minimum wage laws. By the way, what if you are not on FB, what can they do?

Stay on their good side until you're definitely away from them. So I'd mail the guy who manages the fb page and say you got blocked and therefore can't push the "like" button on their notices. When you're gone, if you have proof about their illegal activities, I'd inform the police on them.
