Well girl, that's what carelessness and stupidity gets you. There's nothing you can do about it now. That's the perk of modern technology. You can file complaints, reports, whatever, but those pictures will always stay around. Learn from it, please!

Seek legal counsel and consider this a harsh lesson learned.
I will never understand, especially in this day and age, why people think they can send this type of pic with no consequence.
Even if you trust the person you are giving it to implicitly, this photo CAN get out.
I have a friend. He was dating a girl, gave her some money expecting it to be paid back, it wasn't, she just dropped him and ignored him hoping he would never come after the money.
He took it to court. Our best guess is that this girl, who still knew all his passwords, hacked into his email account to try to plant some falsified info. While there, she apparently found a bunch of topless, nude and near-nude pics of various women that guy had been talking to. She forwarded out all of these pics to EVERYONE in my buddy's friends list (including all of the women in question.)
This devastated my buddy, but it also managed to get one of his friends fired from work because his email was monitored for this sort of stuff, and embarrassed about 5 different women.
In this day and age, never EVER send a nude pic of yourself out thru electronic means!

That law is designed to protect boys and girls that are stupid enough to think pictures like that won't be spread around. It's designed to protect the people that didn't understand those pictures can have devastating once they go public, which they always do.
Girls have committed suicide after their sexts have been made public because they're lives were destroyed by it.
Plus it would make no sense to prosecute some people for doing that but not other people just because they were young. You don't just get a free pass from the law based on your age and ignorance of the law is never an excuse.
So get some legal advice, you'll probably get away with a warning if you can show that you meant them to be private.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (20 May 2011): Actually you need to go speak to a lawyer and get legal counsel on this.
There is nothing you can do to stop the pictures spreading and consider it a lesson learned, you give a guy pics the whole world will see them, those are the rules of the game.
You do however have to protect yourself now because you're in a position where if the wrong person gets that picture and they report it then you're going be in serious trouble. I wouldn't go around telling people it's child porn just yet though or they might freak out and report it.
OP no matter how much you love a guy, no matter how strong your relationship is *never* sent him nude pictures unless you don't mind everyone seeing them or them turning up on the internet, because they will in pretty much all cases.
Plus the only reason guys your age want them is for that reason.

Speak to a lawyer before you decide to talk to the police. *You* could get charged for distributing kiddie porn of *yourself*.

Fair? Nope. Speak to a lawyer and do as they tell you, but my guess is all you can do at this point is consider it a harsh learning experience and try to move on. Hope no one brings it up with the police. Look forward to hearing about this from others until it all blows over. It'll pass, given time.

Do you know the saying "what comes around, goes around"?
Young lady, don't let people take photos of your tits! This is what happens when naughty photos fall into the hands of morons!

A
reader, anonymous, writes (20 May 2011): You shouldn't do that. If you wanted to show someone your breasts you should have done that in person. The problem about that is that since you texted it, now it spreads over to everyone and the next people that can get it is the police, and they'll want to arrest you for child porn. You should be careful with stuff like that. Things like this can ruin future jobs and even your kids can see it when you grow up. There's not much you can do, because when something like that happens, you could get into a lot of trouble, and people might be after you as well. Try to get everyone to let it go, and don't talk about. If police come and find you, that's worse case scenario. Try not to lose hope since bad stuff like this happens, since everyone makes mistakes, and learn from them.

As you are underage in the States, whoever is distributing that picture of your naked boobs is guilty of circulating child pornography and you need to inform the police, who will find him and prosecute him - that will stop it!
It carries a custodial sentence for him and anyone else involved, as well as being placed on the Sex Offenders' Register. This is serious, so act right away.

There's nothing you can do. You just have to learn not to send pictures of your tits to people you don't trust/know very well.
