 boys dont mind too much if im honest. i'm 18 and i'm dating a 23 year old at the moment, it doesn't affect us in anyway at all. The best thing is he is actually more immature than i am! So don't worry about it, it'll be fine :)

 This sort of thing doesn't matter much where i come from. That age difference is nothing really, but i get what you mean about what the differences will mean during school.  It's not really that much of an age gap actually. It may seem like a pretty big age gap right now because you guys are in high school and he's about to graduate in less than a year and you still have two years ahead of you after he graduates, but let me tell you, it's not really. Honestly, I don't really think it matters much, you guys are in the same generation, and a lot of guys actually like it if a girl is a few years younger. I hope this helps to quell your feelings or doubts towards the age gap in your relationship, good luck!

Guys dont matter that much, unless like betty_backstabber said if the girl is underage and they are having sex.

Boys really don't mind an age gap in most situations. The only time it will affect them is if there is a dramatic age gap and the girl is underage and you're having sex because then he could be deemed a 'pedophile' which i find absolute rubbish especially as the girl wants it just as much. Also if his friends grasp the idea he's with somebody younger they may tease him depending on their maturity levels which for some guys that can really get to them and he may tell you he doesn't want anything to happen.
However on the other hand, if this guy is into you as much as it seems, age won't matter because at the end of it its just a number and it generally doesn't affect relationships in any way. Just please make sure he doesn't take advantage of you sweetie because it happened to me when i was around your age and it hurt me quite a lot.
