Teenage stretch marks are different from adult's. They will go away ,as the skin in teenagers is pliable and by time it will be repaired. that is not the case with adult stretch marks!

I've read that Bio Oil is one of the best things you can use on stretch marks. It's not cheap, but you can find it at a pharmacy/drug store, and maybe even the grocery store. Good luck!

@ Veronica, sorry to tell you, but stretch marks do not go away. They can lighten, but not go away.

I noticed stretch marks on the upper part of my thighs when I was 13. I'm 15 now and most times I forget they even exist. It doesn't help worrying about them, just try to stop thinking about them. I think they fade away with time.

They do tend to fade with age, but they are permanent. I don't really notice mine anymore and no one has looked at them or commented on them since I was a teenager. I'm sure my boyfriends saw them, but none ever acknowledged them to me.
They bother you now, but after a while you forget about them. I don't want to tell you "it's not a big deal", but really, it isn't a big deal.

Mee too , I got them too , in my butts cheeks lol , in my hips &' in my boobs just a little bit because I have big boobs. I'm thirteen too. Vie been having this cream for like a year already but I just started using it again like 2 days ago . The name is "Nivea Body ' Good-Bye Cellulite" it's like a baby blue bottle with a dark blue top. Umm , I think it works , you start seeing results fast. &&' i think they DO go away. So use tha cream or any other cream and it should probalyleave in a few months. It takes time m don't rush it ?! , but I would start as soon as possible to use it before summer (:

I think you are way to young to be worrying about it. Your body is going to do whatever it will do as you grow, and you can't help that. To many girls grow up with the wrong images in their heads of how they are "supposed" to look. There is no right way to look. When you are older, you will realize that. I know you are probably worrying about what guys, particularly, think of you. I'm going to say right now, any guy that would judge you or deny you because of anything that is on your body, or how you look, isn't a man, and not worth it. Someone who loves you for you, is a real man. Good luck! :)

Stretch marks are quite common and it just means that your skin has streched as you have grown and from reaching puberty. Now try not to worry because the difference between a teenage girl getting stretch marks and an adult is that yours will fade in time, the older you get the harder it is for stretch marks to go away. Therefore you just need to be patient and through time they will fade and go away. It is very common so try and not worry about them.
There are creams availabe in the market so that the stretch marks appear less visable while they are at the red stage. Therefore maybe you could go to your local pharmacy and ask about these products. Goodluck.

I've got them too. I got them when I was around 13. Stomach, hips, back, thighs, arms. It's really awful and it sucks.
I've heard of using cocoa/shea butter to improve your skin's elasticity, which helps to prevent more stretch marks from coming up. But none of the stretch mark creams or salves or anything will do a damn thing to make them go away.
