It was in fact her brother-in-laws name.As you can imagine I went crazy but to cut a long story shorter.. My girlfriends brother-in-law and sister have recently lost their little boy and as a result my girlfriend has been with them lots. Hence the night out.My girlfriend promises me that there was nothing in the 'shouting' of the name and she cant explain it except that she has been spending too much time round them and - importantly him!She has given me her word that no sexual feelings, thoughts or any previous or current situations have been between her and him.We have a fantasic relationship and have recently gotten engaged.... Do I trust her ??? Do I believe that there was nothing in it ??? Is it possible for a girl to shout her brother-in-laws name without there been some sort of fantasy / crush / previous sexual history between them ???Help please!!!

Yes it is possible that she has no fantasy, crush, or whatever about her brother in law. I am sure you, on the other hand, have never fantasized about anyone but her, right?
Hey, forget it. She loves you and that's what matters. I am a little concerned about what the "I went crazy" meant.
Going crazy over what someone says during sex while a little tipsy seems more over the edge than what your girlfriend said. You need to think about power and control issues in this relationship. But, if "I went crazy" just means it bothered you enough to write here, that's fine.

sometimes when you spend a lot of time around someone you can accidentally say their name or call them something else.
for example i have accidentally called my bf by my male best friends name or my brothers name or even my sons.
the fact that she said this when you were in the throes of passion is not great though but it could of just been an accident.
if you have no other reason to distrust her and she has given you her word i think the best thing you can do is forget about it especially as her sister and brother in law are probably grieving quite deeply right now
