writes:I had a one night stand with a guy about 2-3 weeks ago (on the mon 21st june )which was a huge mistake, I then started seeing my ex again on the saturday and we slept together (on the 1st July) I am now pregnant and im worried about what to do.. i have taken a clear blue pregnancy test and it says i concieved 1/2 weeks ago.. but whos the dad?x

reader, anonymous, writes (11 July 2010): it is more likely to be the one night stand since women tend to have one night stands when they are ovulating. A DNA test is of course the only way to know for sure unless they are brothers.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2010): It's really hard to say I'm kinda in the same spot as your bf. My gf broke up with me before and we didn't have sex for almost 2 weeks. We got back together and had sex the same day. Then following day she told me she thinks she's pregnant, and took the test and sure enough she is positive. I was shocked and she got mad at me telling me she knows what I'm thinking and that I'm stupid to even think she slept with someone else. I mean I did think about it but I just let it go.Maybe when the baby is born I can do a dna test.

 Best to consult a doctor but my guess is the one night stand. You know why? It was only less than 10 days ago you slept with your ex, the positive PT wont show that quickly. Well, this is based on my own knowledge about conception.
I agree with the earlier responses, DNA test is the surest way available to determine who's the father.

Only a DNA test will tell the truth. You need to make sure both men know as well. But the only way to be sure about the father would be to do a DNA test.

 Hard to say, you wont know until the baby is born and you get a paternity test.
These things happen. You need to be totally honest with your boyfriend and tell him whats happened. You might risk him walking away, but at least you told the truth. It's wrong to try and pass off a 'potential other man's child' on someone else.
If he finds out after, the consequences will be terrible.
Your young, you need to inform your family (if your going to go ahead with the pregnancy or terminate) for support...and then get an appointment to see a midwife.

(and I forgot to add...trying to pin point the exact date won't give you an answer as the possible conception date could be two weeks either way)...go talk to your family.
