You are over 18, go to any adult toy store, there are small multi-speed vibes for $12. The last ladyfriend i had never had a vibe, had only used her fingers. So I bought her a "beginners" type for 12 bucks and she loved it

Look for handheld massagers in stores like Kmart, Target or at larger drugstores.

It's called using your right hand... or left...if you're a lefty. It's called using your fingers and sometimes both hands. It's called using other objects if you incline yourself that way. Some girls use veggies, some use deli meats (hot dogs, salami, whatever) and some use household objects. I've seen girls use brush handles, bottles (with a hole on the other side so there's not a vacuum effect,) any object that seems to serve the purpose...even those new vibrating toothbrushes. The sky is the limit and only your mind can say how far it can go.
Now if you want a real vibe and you're in the US, go to the Spencer's stores and you'll find them. Look around in the phonebook for 'adult bookstores' and you'll find vibes and such too. They're not hard to find, you just have to know how...
But if you don't want any 'evidence' around the house, I'd stick with your own hands. I've done it for years. ;)

Lean against the washer when it's on the spin cycle, unless you use a laundromat.

Vibrating Tooth Brush? My Goodness. I can imagine lots of possible injuries with these things. Of course, most of the time nothing happens, but that doesn't mean it's not dangerous. It's just not meant to be used that way.
I just had a look at Amazon.com - they have vibrators that cost much less than $20.

Most girls use an electrical toothbrush instead of a vibrator. I've never tried it myself, but I don't think the intensity of the vibrations would be enough for me. As for the dildo substitute, that's easy. You can find many household items that have the appropriate shape, for instance a hairbrush handle. You can also use some veggies, like carrots or cucumbers.

Yeah I was gonna say I heard an electric toothbrush was good. If you like clitoral stimulation then pointed the showerhead to it can be very pleasurable =]
