What brayden said below.
If you have any questions about his statement, you have no business having sex.
A
male
reader, braden +, writes (18 June 2012):
The fact that you believe that proves you are not ready for sex.
YES, you can get pregnant even though he smokes. Plus you need to protect yourself so condoms or no sex.

Yes of course he should wear a condom. You are so naive - I suggest you go to a family planning centre or to your GP to get some facts and advise on birth control. Good luck.

A

wrong. daddy and mommy smoked when mommy got pregnant with both her kids...
My concern is this:
1. he knows he's lying to you about this so you would let him go bareback.
THIS means he is a LIAR. so you are with a boy who will LIE to you.
It also means he does NOT respect you. so you are with a boy who does not care if you get pregnant or and STD he just cares about how HE feels
on the OTHER hand IF he really believes this information then he's not educated or mature enough to be having sexual relations. I think teen sex is FINE if the kids are educated and mature enough to handle it. That means you need to be able to talk about it and look it up on the internet (goodness it's so easy now to find things out without having to go to the library)
so if you want to have sex:
condoms are mandatory for birth control and STD protection
sex with boys that don't care about you (no respect and lies) will NOT be good it's all about them

He MUST know that it's not true. Motive? I can only guess, but either he wants to get you pregnant, or, more likely, he doesn't care because if he does he plans to run off and leave you holding the baby anyway.
As others have said, liar or idiot. My money is on his being an unprincipled liar, from whom you should get clear of quickly.

A

Heh, if that were true, then none of us fine aunts would be here to give advice, since smoking was WAY more prevalent in our parents' and grandparents' time. That "after sex" cigarette was fabled to be the best of all! The human race would have died out by now if that were true!
The moral of the story is...wear a condom!
Wear a condom on a bus.
Wear a condom on a train.
Wear a condom on a boat.
Wear a condom in the rain.
When he says "I want it bare",
Send him packing outta there.
When he says "It feels too good",
Tell him to put away his wood.
Give him a cig and send him out.
He can tell it to his hand...then pout.

It would be difficult for a smoker to have children..provided he is impotent...so your boyfriend should go for an impotency test first...and if the test result is negative you would be at a risk of conceiving...so don't risk your future for a jerk's whims and fancies...always use condom unless you want to have a child...take care

This is scary that he would think this is worth trying on a girl who he claims to care about enough for you to be Gf and Bf
How many other lies is this boyfriend likely to spin in front of your face? If he can get this Soooooo Wrong then what else is he misinformed about?
If he has been spinning this lie to you and other girls then I hate to think what Sexually tramsmitted diseases (STD) he may be harbouring?
Ask him to visit the Doctor to get tested for a whole range of STDs.
From then on you STILL need condoms to protect you from any future STDs AND you need to be on the contraceptive pill to protect you from unwanted pregnancies before you are ready to bring a baby into the equation.
I surmise that he just wants to have unprotected sex.
If that is the case then he is to be avoided until he gets his act together. And shows you more respect.

Honey, if you don't know more about procreation I suggest you start education yourself before you start having sex and get knocked up.
He must either be really young, ignorant or stupid.

Absolutely not true at all. If it is more difficult the difference is a few percentage points, nothing that is actually going to prevent a fertile woman from getting pregnant. If you don't use condoms or contraception you are trying to get pregnant.
You need to use condoms at all times, no matter what.

Seriously? Well...he's lying to you. You may want to consider getting yourself a new boyfriend if he is either (1) That uninformed or (2) That intent on deceiving you. He's not only putting you at risk of getting pregnant, but also at risk of getting any sexually transmitted diseases.

A

No, the ingredients in cigarettes are not spermicidal. There is a nicotine condom available though so he can pick whether to spend on cigarettes or condoms. They eliminate the need to smoke after sex. If he doesn't wear a condom then no sex for him.

A

Another reason to use condoms is that they protect against against sexually transmitted infections which it is possible to have without displaying symptoms.
Personally, I wouldn't take that chance

He's blowing smoke alright.
He's blowing smoke out his $ss.
Sperm can live in the uterus for 5 days, an egg will live for 12 to 24 hours.
Those sperm are on a mission, the egg just sits there like a lovely flower with no worries.
That is also how you handle your love life, you the flower, he the seaman, (sailor) banging on your door.
Remain still, beautiful, unabashed.
Let the right one in, be picky, as the egg needs a strong sperm and will reject billions and billions of them. Live on the outside how nature lives on the inside. And tell this guy to put a cover on it or Butt out of your life.

Your B/F doesn't have it quite right.....
It's true that it is more difficult for a girl to get pregnant by a guy who smokes...but that is ONLY if the guy substitutes smoking for s*x..... Otherwise, all bets are "off."
Good luck....
