I am a young woman. I have stuck a foreign object in my anus and it started bleeding last night. It is still bleeding when i try and make bowl movements. Its only been a day but i am worried that it will keep bleeding. I know i probably only ripped tissue and it needs time to heal. But i am worried that I have done something else, i dont want professional help, i am embarassed. Should I wait a couple days and see? what do i do? I need help!

Indeed thunderchild, why some people come on a sex advice site, to read questions about things they don't like and offer insults I'll never know.... too much time on their hands, or a case of anger management perhaps....

Please go to the doctors babes, they'll take care of you, don't be ashamed, they will understand and help you.

I can understand how embarresed you would be but I urge you to seek medical attention right away. Serious complacations could very well happen if you don't.

Yos agony auntDoctors see this kind of thing all the time, they won't be phased at all. My ex is a doctor, and she told me of a conversation she had with a bunch of doctors (whilst performing an operation removing a bottle from a guys ass!) about the strangest things they'd had to remove from asses. The list was very long and very very bizzare.

Remember that doctors have to keep your information confidential. They have seen and dealt with all sorts of issues that I am sure he/she may raise an eyebrow but you certainly won't be the worst case. Take care of yourself and stop putting random objects into your ass! There are dildo's that are safe to use with lubrication. If you into this, no shame but do it right.

A reader, anonymous, writes (22 October 2008):

you should really go to the doctor. if it's still bleeding you could have caused extensive damage and it could get infected. so i heavily advise you to go to the doctor. i'm sure he's seen someone with a problem like your's and i'm sure you won't be the last.

xxsecretsxx agony auntno! Go immediately.

That is not something to be fooled around with and you should be embarassed. I'm sorry but it is highly dangerous and you might have torn it enough to need stitches.

A serious infection cna happen or worse and it is better to get checked than to die.

GO!

Good luck.

You don't mention what type of object you inserted or how much you are bleeding, but if you are worrid enough to ask, you probably should geet it checked out.

Doctors see all kinds of things you wont be the first or the worst but you better go and get it checked. too many complications could happen if it does not heal properly.
