We ended up going back to her flat and started ripping each others clothes off. We got naked, although I think I left my underwear on although I can't be sure. Anyway i got on top of her and we started rubbing, kissing and touching each other for a few mins but then I wasn't being turned on and I just thought what the hell am I doing and told her we have to stop. Thing is I wasn't wearing a condom and although I know it's unlikely because we didnt really have sex I keep thinking about what if I caught HIV or something or she got pregnant? I know it's probably unlikely but is it possible for this to happen just from doing this? Its driving me mad. I am a virgin and have no sexual experience. And the other thing is I just feel so guilty and ashamed of myself. I have never done anything like this before and i know i never will again but just need some advice. I keep thinking how could i be so stupid and put myself in a position where anything could have happened. Thanks for listening

So, it seems I'm probably worrying about nothing. I just keep thinking about it though and how stupid I was, but I guess its happened to a lot of people at some stage and I've now learnt from it.
She wanted to go all the way and was trying to urge me on, but it's scary that she did want to without protection because she was a lot older than me and told me she already has a child. That's the other thing as well, i keep thinking about how she told me that and yet I still got naked with her without really thinking about protection. I'm glad I did eventually think about it and stopped but if she really had turned me on I think I would have done it and made a huge mistake. Im not normally like that either, I just got so drunk and didnt think about it until after we got naked.

 I would say theres very little chance that you have an std. just forget about it. the risk if what you say reflects the situation is almost zero. you are more likely to contract the flue from walking accross the city.

 If you didn't put your penis inside her or you still had your shorts on, it's highly unlikely that she could be pregnant, however not all STI's require penetration to be passed around, something like herpes or genital warts can be passed just by making skin to skin contact with your genital area, if the infected person is having a break out.
Having drunken sex is a fact of life but you suffer for it, often worrying about mistakes, it also exposes you to potential entrapment, so get yourself tested in a month or so (to allow for incubation periods) and if you think you are going to be prone to further drunken sex, make sure you always carry condoms.

 Hey,I am glad you realised at the moment that sex without protection is risky and backed off,you said you had your underwear on,so there was no intercourse,I don't see why you should be soo worried if all it you did was rubbing and kissing..Well may be you were drunk and didn't realise what you were doing,but think of this,you did not go through with this,if you did you might have guilty,so look at the positive side and move on in life and the next time you go drinkining see that you have a trust worthy friend with you to see you get home safe and don't end up doing anything like this..And for your satisfaction although I think its highly unlikely just get yourself tested,it will provide you releif!Good luck x

reader, anonymous, writes (19 August 2012): I think its more unlikely than likely that she will be pregnant, although it has been known that women have gotten pregnant from pre-cum (The stuff that leaks out when your right in the thick of the mood and excited to go all the way), but then you said you wasn't really getting turned on, so perhaps things didn't get to that stage.
As for STD's well that depends, from what I can gather she is easy and doesn't make guys wear protection, so its more likely that you could pick something up from someone like her just from inserting it, without actually going all the way.
I'd get yourself checked out just to be sure as soon as possible.

chances are you are fine, but for future reference , any exchange of body fluid meaning , oral sex or genital to genital contact whether or not penetration occurred it is possible to transmit certain STI's , go to the doctor get a test and put your mind to ease.
