When I'm not around my boyfriend or plan on seeing him, I usually don't shave. If I'm with him, I definitely shave but if I let it go for a few days he couldn't care less. I love the feeling of being squeaky clean down there, but you're more prone to "sweating" and rubbing. It gets annoying!

The best way is just to keep it trimmed, and neat.
A nice medium between a jungle and a barren desert (that's the best I could come up with)
Especially if you're into oral.

I just keep it trimmed, no shaving. Women have hair naturally, so any guy who thought it was weird or freaked out has been watching way too much porn. It's one thing to have a preference for during oral sex, but it's quite another to see it and get disgusted or freaked out. Any guy who did that I would assume was a pedophile because children are the only ones who don't have any. There's also a risk for infections shaving or waxing that hair, ingrown hairs and such.

To avoid the rash I don't shave every day, maybe every 3 or 4. So it's not always totally "bare" but there is never more than a quarter inch of stubble.
I've never had any complaints from a partner about it. I'd say do what you like though, as long as you can keep the end result clean, because most men are happy enough to be getting laid that a little hair is in no way a dealbreaker. Good luck!

@AbigailBradbury...actually most of the younger men do shave now... in fact I had to negotiate with my partner to get him to NOT shave fully. He prefers to be totally shaved... I prefer trimmed nicely... he's gone to trimmed for me and I am eternally grateful for this.

AbigailBradbury, lots of men shave their pubic hair actually because it's been known to make their privates look bigger. Some men have their women in mind when shaving down there, one of the male posters said that he doesn't like hair in his teeth when pleasuring a woman, well it's the same for us ladies, we don't fancy having a load of hair in our mouths either!!!

I have a landing strip.
My boyfriend could care less about what I do with my pubic hair, just as long as its not a forest. I also don't like having a forest. I sweat quite a bit and I like to feel clean, so shaved or neatly trimmed is the way to go for me. I also prefer to have less hair because its easier during periods.

I remove my hair now FOR ME. Thankfully my fiance prefers me hairless down there...
I have professional waxing done every 4-6 weeks...
The decision to keep hair below is yours and yours alone.
whatever YOU prefer is what the guy you are with will learn to deal with.
One suggestion... no one likes a wild untamed forest so at bare minimum I'd suggest neatly trimmed...

Who cares what a guy thinks, do whatever you feel comfortable in.
Personally, I find it more hygienic to keep it neat and shaven down there, it feels cleaner plus there's no tangled, matted hair during the periods.
Shaving does make it itchy initially, but after a while you just get used to it. Use a new razor everytime, a good shave gel/foam and you're good to know.
Ultimately what matters is what YOU like. I dont know what guys would like and honestly I dont give a damn, as long as its clean and hygienic down there. That's all that matters

Have it how you want it, not for a guy. I usually trim mine out of choice and my ex never had a problem with hair down there, but my new boyfriend is a little put off by it but i've told him i won't shave for him. Shaving hurts when it grows back, and you have to shave frequently to keep it away and it's quite prone to rashes. Many of my friends either leave it natural or just trim.
If a guy freaks out about hair down there, then he's not really mature enough to be doing sexual stuff :)

At the end of the day love, it's what is comfortable for you. I find that shaving it makes it really itchy which is horrid and then it goes stubbly and it's not very nice.
Waxing hurts way too much.
Just have it how you feel comfortable. If a man loves you for you he shouldn't be bothered. Especially as men don't shave down there, so why should we have to?! xx

Hi,
Just an idea from a guy's preference, trim and neat, very short shaven or none at all. The only thing that is not for me is very hairy and out of control. But please, only my preferences! Each to his own.

Some like it, some don't - all people are different.
Personally, I prefer hairless because I don't like getting hairs in my teeth when I pleasure a lady.....
