I really don't even realize until I'm done eating what I've done. I don't even know what question I'm trying to ask it's just crazy. Help?... Reply to this Question Share |

Healty people always tend to be on a "diet," it doesn't mean it's conscious and they are counting calories, but they have normalize patterns of behavior about how they eat. For instance, they don't snack between meals, or don't eat candy. Or they insist on eating vegetables at every meal.
You are at the age where you can start forming patterns that will stick with you for life. I gave up soda when I was 14 and have kept that pattern my whole life. Just make wise sensible decisions now about how you want to eat, focus on staying healthy rather than being thin, and these patterns should stick with you.

Ever hear the saying 'it's not what you're eating . . . it's what's eating you'? Maybe you eat because something's bothering/eating away at you. I agree with CaringGuy "talking to a doctor about a safe diet, and safe exercise program"! Congratulations too on losing those 35 pounds!

Well done on losing the weight first of all! That's great and you should be proud.
Now the bad news - Intense diets often don't work, because the body can't physically handle the sudden loss of food/energy/weight. You lost of a lot of weight inside 2 months, and your body hasn't adjusted to its new levels. Therefore, the cravings are back. And if you continue with the cravings, the weight will start to go on to. Three things need to happen.
1 - I think you need to go back on the diet temporarily.
2 - I think you need to make sure you are doing exercise (gym, running, martial art etc). You need to be using up the energy you eat.
3 - I think it would be worth you talking to a doctor about a safe diet, and safe exercise program. That way you'll be safe medically.

Diets that that last forever are ones that allow you to loose weight gradually and then its easier to maintain a healthy lifestyle afterwards. I suggest joining a group or getting some kind of help with this, you have achieved so much it would be a shame to throw it all away now. Come on you can do it you got this far and I bet you felt soooo pleased with your progress, dont give in now, get some help. See a nutritionist, go to the gym most instructors in a gym can help with a healthy diet plan combined with exercise that suits you. I know this I did the same thing but have kept the weight off for over 10 years. Anything takes 6 weeks to become a habit whether it be a healthy one or a non healthy one, dont give in make your healthy lifestyle a habit.

Firstly - WELL DONE FOR LOSING ALL THE WEIGHT!! GOOD ON YOU!! I know how hard it is as I did it myself a few years back. Ok.. so now you are undoing all your hard work. Let me tell you - you are going to regret this when the weight starts showing again, which it will within a couple of weeks if you keep going at that rate. It's almost like you are sabotaging yourself. What you need to do right now is find out what's going on inside you .. because whatever uncomfortable feelings you are having, they are what's making you eat like this. Try and stop now. The thing is - we all relax once we have lost the weight - but you need to keep on that diet, and have a weight maintenance plan. EG: stick to a certain ammmout of calories to keep your weight off, and maybe have something nice once a month, and have a food menu. I lost two stone four years ago, and have to watch my weight all the time, but do not and will not go back to that fat person I once was. PLease maybe go and see your GP or a counsellor to try and get to the root of this problem before you put it all back on and think back to the reasons of why you lost the weight in the first place, and maybe join a gym too. I wish you all the best with this. xx

I don't know what you can do to curb the eating besides making sure you just have one serving made and just eat that and stay away from junk and stuff until you are balanced again.
