 Im your age and I have been with the same amount of guys as you. I never worried about it and among my friends I am considered "pure" and innocent because I haven't been with nearly as many as they have.
A slut to me (my opinion) would be a girl or woman who goes out looking for sex, nothing else. Who flaunts their body, goes after their friends boyfriends, dresses dirty, and acts inapporpriate in public situations advertising their desire for it and seldom use protection. They are willing to have sex with any guy they meet, right when they meet them they don't even have to know their name, and then leave them. They got what they wanted. Girls who frequently or regularly have sex in public with a guy they just met like 5 mins ago (ie in clubs, bars, at parties)I would consider to be sluts. However, I am not putting down the whole sex in public thing (using protection) with a significant other whom have a relationship with. It adds spice to your relationship. I hope y'all get my drift on that. Im mainly referring to hook-ups in clubs and such. I have seen it before and from my experience the girls that partake in such behavior often flaunt their body looking for it. (Based on my experience.)
You are not a slut, numbers don't define it. Rather, your behavior defines it.

 Don't let him get to you!!! All of my girlfriends, seriously, ALL of them (at least that are here in the room with me... 4 of them) have been more with 4 before their 23rd birthday. They all say that all of their friends have been with more than 4. They all think, as do I, that your boyfriend is a douche and that you are FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR from slutty. By most standards, you'd be considered pretty pure!! 4 is chump change. Everyone in the room I'm in now (except for me, I'm the prude of the group who happened to marry the first guy I slept with - it was a surprise to me too, I thought I'd get a much longer list before I was hitched!!) has been with AT LEAST more than 10!! Two of them more than 20 (shhh...)!!!
So tell your boyfriend to quit being such an a*shole (what was even the point of the asterisk when we all know what I said??), and lighten up. He's got some jealousy issues and he's trying to make you feel guilty for Lord knows what reason. You are not even CLOSE to slutty. Not even CLOSE!!!

A woman can have had a hundred sexual partners and still be a perfectly charming, likable person, or she can be a virgin and be horrible. The numbers aren't important.
