I don't see it as any big deal. Some guys masturbate while sitting around on their own doing all sorts of things. He probably isn't masturbating because of the xbox360 (as that would be a problem!) but just because he's sitting around and feeling horny. Speaking from experience many times I've been laying on the lounge watching TV and nothing sexual and I've got an erection so gone with it, and likewise while using the computer (and doing general stuff, not watching anything). I am around your age and am guessing so is your bf so I wouldn't be concerned.
