He has no problem getting it up, but he can not orgasm. We have tried the last 4 days for hours at a time and still nothing! The problems didn't start until the doctor put him on medicine. He has a sinus infection that has settled in his ears and they have changed his medicine twice. The meds he is on is Omnicef (anitbotic) and Darvocet (pain med). Would this cause his problem of not being able to ejaculate? Thanks for any info, he is really frustrated..

Given the timing it is very likely the drugs.
There are many other painkillers and antibiotics out there, so switching drugs shouldn't be an issue. He should go back to his doctor (if he's on a long course of drugs) and get them changed. Alternatively. if he's getting better more quickly, you might just have to have no sex most days, combined with some marathons!

Hi,with out a doubt the medication Darvocet is a trade name for Propoxyphene, the drug is used for mild to medium pain, it blocks pain receptors in the brain,it can cause constipation and to put it in a polite way, Physical ability's can be affected as you have said, I think he should go back to Dr and tell him of the side affects, and take it from there, it is also not advisable to drive a motor vehicle whilst on this drug.Hope this is of help to you.

Yes, i thinks its the medication. It sounds like its affecting his blood circulation. I had a boyfriend once who couldnt get his penis hard and it was real embarrassing for him. He ended up finding out it was because of something he took for diarrhea. I think it was regular pepto bismo! But that can happen. Any medication that resticts blood circulation will have this effect. He should talk to his doctor and tell him the medication isnt worth losing his boner!
