I dont think its weird, if you say you guys dont feel the age gap you're probably both at about the same maturity level. I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 21, and we started our relationship when I was 16 - he isnt having any problems "adapting to adulthood" as another poster suggested. In some cases that may be true, but certainly not in all; you just need to look at your relationship and decide for yourself whether that is true for your boyfriend.
However the other aunts raise a good point concerning the legality of your relationship - its fine for you to be together, but refrain from doing anything sexual until you are of age, or he could get into serious trouble.

I personally think it's kind of weird and possibly illegal.
Age differences mean a lot more the younger you are. I personally think 19 year-old guys who date 16 year-olds have a serious problem trying to adapt to adulthood.
Then there's the legal issues. Depending where you live, the age of consent is between 16-18 years old. So it actually could be a felony for him if you are in a sexual relationship.
Check this wiki for your state.

If it's illegal you should immediately end your relationship for his sake and yours.

It's not weird but it is illegal so just b very careful if u accept him. 3 years age difference really isn't much but at ur age it's kinda risky for him so just talk it out with him. Good luck....

I wouldn't say thats weird at all. Think of it this way if you two are together and you're 20 and he is 23 no one would think twice about the age difference.
Its quite natural for a girl to go for an older guy since girls mature faster and the boys at the same age level are a step (or two) below the girls maturity.
I know a couple who are ten years apart, 19 and 29, they are getting married soon and are so happy together so don't worry about. The emphasis on age just lessens over time.
