I am a gay guy and have started taklking to this guy online, who I am really interested in, but theirs a couple of issues. To get on these websites I've lied about my age, I'm 17 but I say I'm 18 to get on these websites, I know some people will have issues with that, this guy has asked me out, but to go to a club, and I've never tried to get in underage, I really need to tell him my age, but I am really interested in him, and I presume he will go off me if he finds out I'm only 17 and cant go out with him. Tell him the truth. The age difference is probably really small it's just that you can't go to a club yet. Plus a club is a terrible spot for a first date.
I'm sure he will appreciate your honesty with him.

You should tell him. He has the right to choose if he wants to be with a 17 year old. Anyways its only one year if you explain it to him the way you explained it here I doubt he'll have any problem. Good luck!

I don't think the age gap is the big issue here. It is only i year between you, I'm 17 too and i would date guys older or younger than me (as long as the age gap wasn't too big of a difference) They say honesty is the best policy. Go for it! If you get into a relationship with this person you'll have to tell him the truth about your age eventually. Better sooner than later. Good luck. :)

I don't see the problem here. What difference does a year make? Find another place to meet. Simple.
