om nom nom nom. sounds like you like the pies and the cake. You'll know if you are fat by how much wobbly fat you have on your stomach and pecs? With a BMI of 28 yes you are overweight. Cut back to a 1500 Kcal diet with 60g of fat a day and 20minutes exercise. Aim for a BMI for about 22-24.

At 16 you haven't finished growing, sometimes your body will put on weight just before a growth spurt.

My son is 17, he's 6'1 ft and weighs around 78 kg (175 lbs). He looks like a toothpick! Way too thin.
Checking your BMI is a great idea..but the best judge of all this..is you. If you feel you would be healthy trimming off 20 pounds (no more) and doing some exercise and weight training..then go for it. But do it in a healthy way.

check out your Body Mass Index, you can do this by typing in BMI Calculator in some search engine. Then you can figure out exactly how much of your actual weight is fat tissue. If it's not good, then I suggest you go to a nutritionist. They can help you alot better then we at DC can.Victoria~

I don't have a clue what kilgrams equals in pounds, but don't judge yourself by the scale, If you are not feeling good about your appearance...reinvent yourself. You are certainly young enough to do something about it. Work towards self improvement. There are so many good books out there to help you with this. It's hard work, but a very satisfying accomplishment! You're worth the effort.

And then, if you're fat, what's the problem? If you don't like it, work out and eat less. If you don't care about it (which is a healthy thing), just keep enjoying the chips and junk food.

Well, just based on the facts i'd said you have overweight, but you should notice that bodybuilders too, muscle is heavier than fat.
Indepently of the facts, light dinner, walking or jogging for about 30 mins will keep you on line.

reader, anonymous, writes (10 November 2008): Sorry babes, I'm British, we don't do kilograms (even though we should) Fat is actually a state of mind. We are dear cupid can't see you and therefore we can't judge you.
Fat is as fat dose. You can be fat and unhappy, or you can call yourself voluptuous with big tits, a sexy ass and a woman's body. I know some "fat" ladies, but they are as sexy as hell. They exercise and eat a lot, they have a sexy attitude and men don't seem to mind the weight. Fat is a term for people who are larger and are unhappy. If your unhappy with your weight, then change your diet, eat more salads, eat fish, give up cakes, biscuits and fried foods and replace them with fruit. Do more exercise, learn to box, go running, or learn to skip or swim. Loosing weight doesn't have to hurt, take a dance class, where you can loose weight and still be close to men.
Women who love their body, and enjoy the way they are are exciting and attractive no matter their weight. Women who are ashamed of themselves and criticise and look down on the way they are are always negative and a drag to be with. I have friends who are large, whose belly stick out a mile. But because they are confident, because they make the best of what they have got, because they choose to be optimistic rather than pessimistic, they always attract more men than me, and weight doesn't seem to matter. If you don't like the way you are then change it, if you can't change it, then love the way your body is and show it off to it's best. Larger girls have great tits and great backsides, and they have lovely puffy faces that make them look like innocent children. Make use of what you have at the moment and be confident in your body, and respect it for what it is. Men like confidence a lot, weight is something the notice, but they notice the tits and ass first... Get some confidence and you'll see that the weight doesn't matter at all.
