writes:problem. im 39 and soon will be 40. im dying to have a baby again. my youngest child is 13. im capable and got enough income to provide for a new baby. the problem is im scared. does anybody here can give me advice. i dont know if im still capable of getting pregnant. im scared and worried. when is the menoposal time start?  sweetie, instead of being scared, why don't you go see your ob/gyn doctor? Every woman is different, none of us can answer your question specifically. Menopause can start as early as mid 30's for some, as late as 60 for others, its just too varied to pin it down without knowing your history. I would GUESS that if you are still having regular menstrual cycles, that you could get pregnant. But please seek out a doctor's advice ok? Then you'll KNOW. Good luck!
