the worst he can say is no and if you think he likes you then he probobly wont and if he does, it's not that bad and you can move on to someone who'll jump at the chance of getting close to you!

 Well, if you've liked him for a year, thats an awfully long time to wait!I say go for it. Like caring guy said, you need to be brave. Hopefully he'll say yes, but if he doesnt, dont worry, at least you tried, and theres nothing wrong with that. Good luck!

Talk to him about it. Tell him that you really like him and would like to get to know him more, maybe even go out with him. You do need to be brave, and hopefully he'll say yes, so good luck. Go for it.
