forget him. hes not worth it. i used to be called Buck Tooth Bridgette because my teeth were to big for my face. now that i've grown into them people say i have a pretty smile. don't worry about that guy. just show everyone that you don't care and smile your heart out. sooner or later someone will realize that your teeth has nothing to do with your personality which is what REALLY counts.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Braces are the way to go; they'll fix your teeth and you'll end up with a perfect smile. If you or your parents cannot afford them now, make sure you study hard, go to college, and get a good paying job so you can afford to get them for yourself. I'm 33 and in braces. This is actually my second time around, as I didn't wear my retainers the first time (when I was your age). Don't let the name calling get you down. I was overweight and very shy in high school...and I never had a boyfriend in high school, either. After leaving high school and going to college, etc., I lost the weight. When I went to my 10 year reunion, the guys that never paid attention to me in high school couldn't keep their eyes off me. One guy even told me "Man, you got HOT! If I'd known you'd end up looking like this, I would have paid more attention to you!" My thoughts were "Eat your heart out....and kiss my a**." I can't wait for my 20 year reunion, because I'll look even hotter! Keep your chin up...it's only high school and you have an awesome future ahead of you!!!!! Forget that hairy-legged guy. Who wants to date a sasquach (big foot)!!

darksecretangel agony auntHey

Sorry about your problem. If you want to sort it out you should visit your orthadontist and try and get braces. People can be so cruel sometimes. I know how you feel sweety since im getting braces in august as well and my teeth are messed up. If they start you with teasing and stuff ignore them, they are just insecure about themselves and what to feel better by making you feel dehuminized.

Also with this boy derrick, dont waste your time on him, any guy who calls you names just because of your teeth and doesnt see the true beauty that you have inside of you, is not worth any of your time and yes :) i do think you should retaliate once in a while with the comments.

Good luck xx =]

rk06 agony auntAh hunny. I'm sure you are a beautiful girl. If you want to change your teeth, however, it can be done. I know its hard, but try not to let them get to you. They are retarded... making fun of someone else so that they feel more secure. I cant stand people like that. I wish you the best.

A female reader, Artemesian Australia +, writes (20 June 2007):

Artemesian agony auntGoing to a good orthodontist would fix your teeth gradually and would be well worth it in the end if it affects your confidence so much. But the people teasing you aren't worth your worry, everyone has something bad about them whether its inside or out and honestly the people teasing you can't just go and get their inside problem fixed like you can fix yours. If the guy you like is really teasing you then he isn't worth your consideration either, dropping down to their level and making fun of their physical appearance doesn't solve anything and just draws you down with them. Be happy you're a nicer person than they are and move on from their immaturity :)

myp agony auntrespond to the teasing. If you tell him he looks like a damn gorilla hell definitely notice you and the fact that you stood up for yourself. If you relly dont like your teeth save up and get some braces. My mom worked 2 jobs to pay off hers and it was worth it.

best of luck

if he doesn't like you for you he is so not worth it!!!! I used to have messed up teeth to and i got called many nasty names and i have braces now and a lot of people have them now so it isn't a big deal. Maybe talk to your parents about having braces put on. But don't try to be someone you arn't just to get a guy.
