When I shave, it usually starts getting prickly the same day. Then there's the terrible itch of regrowth for days afterwards. Because the hair grows back so fast, I would have to shave everyday if I wanted to be prick-free for sex with my guy, and you can see why that'd be extremely uncomfortable. During sex, my guy seems to get this friction burn or something from what he says is my prickly hairs. It only happens when I'm on top, and it's always in the same spot near his inner thigh, but I've yet to figure out what part of me is making contact with that part of his leg to make it so uncomfortable for him. I don't know what to do. I'd like to try waxing, but whenever I've waxed my legs at home, it starts growing back in a few days. So much for a couple weeks! Because getting a wax down there by a professional is so expensive, I tried to do it at home by myself and it was much more difficult than waxing my legs because my hair's so much thicker in that area, so I quit after a few failed attempts. Also if she really is good (go by recommendation, it's the only way)she wont burn you, rip your skin or bruise you like other people have warned of.My hair isn't super thick but there is a lot of it, and it grows in places most other girls don't worry about (basically my pubes extend down my thighs and up my belly.I've tried shaving, stinky creams and epilators (ow ow ow). Also that ludicrous sandpaper-like stuff. Nothing works like a proper wax.Having said all that I've been with men who adored the fur, it's certainly softer and nicer than stubble I guess, and would sulk if I had it removed. In the end , whilst I still trim and occasionally shape the fur, I married one of the guys who likes it (more than I do)...

The more you wax, the softer and finer the hairs become. Yes it may seem expensive, but regular waxing means that the hair would grow back slower and finer over time.
Try it and see, go get it done professionally the first few times, then you can manage it from home.

Shaved is not necessary especially when it causes that much problems for you. Buy a beard trimmer or other such electric trimmer and trim it down to a nice neat length. A cm or inch is perfect. That way the hair is still soft, it's tight enough not to get in the way and you don't have all these problems that you get from shaving completely. Plus trimming is WAY easier than shaving or waxing. As for the legs you can kind of do the same thing just not shave that often. My girlfriend only shaves her legs now once every two weeks or so, or when she has to wear a skirt even then she might just throw on a pair of thick dark tights. The stubble stops pricking after a few days when the leg hair has gotten a fraction longer and softer.

Have you looked into laser hair removal? It's expensive, but it is well worth every penny! I have dark hair and I live in Florida, so I had my legs done. Also, I had the hair around my bikini line removed... just the hair that would show if I was wearing a bathing suit. Do NOT go for the full Brazillian hair removal because many guys like some hair down below. Once you have the bikini line hair removed, it will be much easier for you shave or wax the rest of your hair, so don't get it all removed. Have you looked into this?

Prick free sex huh...well that is too funny. Use Nair for a smooth result use it often and problem solved or stop shaving it bald as god gave us hair down there to reduce friction and nude privates are mostly a fashion. Keeping things simply trimmed may be all your guy really wants. Some guys don't like their women to look like children there..Ask him.

OP I am "blessed" in the same manner as you are. I can really empathise with you about how fast hair grows back after waxing. It's a constant battle!
Unless you have lots of money to spend on laser treatment, which I don't, I would really urge you to try waxing again. What I would tend to do is wax off all that I could easily access, and then maybe trim the rest and make sure it's neat and tidy, rather than trying to removed everything. I would recommend those pre-waxed strips which you can buy all over the place. You can use them with quite a lot of precision with a bit of practice, and they aren't messy either. You will also find that the hair becomes easier to remove after several waxings. The best thing is there is no stubble this way, although you do need to keep an eye out for ingrowing hairs, but this is easily sorted. Just give it a go, it will be worth it. Good luck!

Not a helpful answer, I know, but I fell about at reading "prick-free sex"!
